Tired of being left in the dark while my entire life spiraled further out of control. For several moments she simply stared at me before finally letting out a resigned sigh. "Fine. It's about the woman in the harem right?." I didn't answer. I didn't need to. The tension filling the room answered for me. Azula inhaled deeply before reaching for a silver bowl resting beside the altar. My eyes narrowed as she dropped several dark herbs into it before setting them alight. Their bullets are flying faster than we can kill them, and every time one of our wolves dies, we feel it. I’m not used to Angel’s aura, having only felt it once before. It takes me a few precious minutes to tap into her strength and feel her aura. I have to separate her blue strength from the yellow of her healing. Having worked with Ailduin, I pull on her healing power too. I’m not sure that it can do anything, but I’m keeping hold of it, just in case.

**Lisa's point of view:** Ace’s men led us to another convoy of SUVs waiting outside. The tension in the air was palpable, but knowing Ace was with us brought a sense of calm. Mia, still weak but more hopeful, held my hand tightly as we climbed into the back seat of the lead car. Ace sat beside me, his presence a reassuring anchor.
