DAISY’S POV Stepping into the penthouse, I was greeted by a breathtaking sight: a massive glass wall offering a stunning view of the city, while the elegant decor, dominated by shades of grey and black, exuded a sense of coldness and loneliness. With the incident in the elevator still fresh in my mind, I couldn’t help but wonder if this place would become my new home, even if only temporarily, and if Dylan’s actions indicated a dislike or even hatred towards me. I immediately regretted asking him about our meeting. While preoccupied with my thoughts, I completely missed David’s departure from the living room.

So I took a shower and then went to sleep. Actually, Dawson was never a soft-hearted person.
