Mom asks, eyeing Aaron and I, her tongue poking her inner cheek. “Um— who are you?” Aaron asks, looking at me for help. "Aaron is my boss and really mom? You’re going to start here? Please stop.” I say, watching Aaron’s eyes widen for the second time. “Your mom?” He mouthed “You just called her baby, I heard that right and she is your?” Mom asks, I resist the urge to faceplam myself. “Mom!” She raised her hand to shut me up, waking to where Aaron stood.

Mom yelled. “Tell me something I don’t know, dear, I am a proud monster, a beautiful one and trust me, Amelia, you’re not just going to die, at least, not until I’ve had taste of what was supposed to be mine,” He said with a sick expression and it was at this stage that mom started to crawl back, her eyes bloodshot with fear.

She touched her face and said, “The first time your dad brought me here and introduced me to you, he said I was your mom. From that day, I told myself that no matter what happened before, from now on, I’m your mom.” Then, she thought of something and suddenly laughed. “That time you told me to get out, your dad came to confront me. I told him it was all my fault. I said I found out you used the 20,000 dollars to frame me, and in my anger, I hit you. “I even told him I was your mom and promised to take care of you and help you grow up. I guess I am pathetic.” She handed me the property deed, raised her chin, and said, “Listen to your mom, you brat.”
