The Ace at the Apex

The Ace at the Apex

“Xander, listen to me. I don’t like you that way, but I’ve always seen you as my good friend, so listen to me when I’m telling you—” Xander cut her short before she could get to the point. “Don’t worry, Grace! I’ll show you just how rich I’ve become. You’ll see!” Then, he turned to the shopgirl haughtily. “What’s the most expensive item in this entire shop?” The shopgirl was not fond of that attitude, but professionalism made her lead the young man to the cabinet where the diamonds were stored. “Come with me, sir.” She extended her finger, which was in a white glove, and pointed at a necklace studded with diamonds. “This necklace is made out of 32 pink diamonds of varying sizes, all excavate

The Raging Diamond

The Raging Diamond

He replied sarcastically, walking towards the sofa set and getting comfortable. “Here.” Atarah threw a brown pouch on his lap, intending to harm the prince, but unfortunately, Dragomir had fast reflexes. “Did you count them?” he asked, checking the content inside. Atarah raised her eyebrow at him, silently saying: how dare you question my math? But Dragomir didn’t believe her. He still spilled out the content on the marble coffee table and started counting. The big chunks of diamonds twinkled like stars against the black surface.

Ace

Ace

I had to bite down onto my lower lip to prevent myself from letting out a squeak of surprise, trying my best to play it cool, "You know, there are better ways to solve your problems. You don't always have to kill people." Ace released one of my thighs and brought his hand above the table to grab a sugar sachet. He then brought the small packet to his mouth, squeezing my thigh a little harder while he used his teeth to tear the top open. The entire time he held me captive with his intense, heated glare. "I'm sorry," he finally said, dropping the sugar into the coffee cup and stirring, "I don't know what you're talking about." "You know exactly what—" "No, I don't," he snapped, effectively put

Usually, I am a lover of werewolf/mate story lines but The Astor brother books so far are amazing! Gunnar was great however, Ace is soooo much better! The relationship between the main characters after each chapter leaves you wanting more each time you read. It is highly recommended!

Amy stopped her sewing machine and answered. "I took it off and forget to put it on. I couldn't find it back." "Really?" Jacy and Amy searched every corner of the bathroom. "Did you fall into the sink?" Jacy said as she scratched her head. "Stupid! How did it happen?" Amy said, flicking Jacy's forehead. "Oh my God! Is it taken away by someone?" Jacy exclaimed. The diamond was the unique heart-shaped purple diamond. Everyone would be jealous if they saw it. They put it into the purse secretly and took it away without anyone noticing.

I'm The Vampire's Bed Warmer

“ Little girl… “ I heard a sudden word from Ace and was frozen when he started to move. He leaned on even way more closer to me and let his fingers crawled to my shoulders then back to my waist. He chained me tightly using his own grip. “ I don’t like it whenever you’re thinking indifferently… “ He murmured with a low voice. I glanced at him for a sec and looked away. I can’t bare to watch how his eyes flickers and how his lips moves whenever he speak. “ And I’m Diamond. “ A hard voice from a man can be heard from the side. His eyes were icy and his hair was curled. But what surprised me the most was that, he have a lot of earrings in his ears. I can even see a huge tattoo from his right arm

MAFIA MARRIAGE

MAFIA MARRIAGE

| completely trusted her with my life. KC left the room and | stared down at the box. Surely father would have not brought me a gift. 1 carefully undid the bow and let it fall to my lap. Upon opening the box | saw a beautiful diamond encrusted necklace inside. A single bright blue sapphire shimmered in the light as | ran my fingers over it. I spotted a small gift tag and turned it over in my hand. I didn't recognise the neat handwriting which spoke of undressing me and seeing me in nothing but the necklace. What the fuck? Ace? What the fuck is he thinking. What a fucking bastard. If he thinks he can fuck me on our wedding night, he’s got another thing coming.

Frequently Asked Questions

Watching the high school baseball drama unfold in 'Ace of Diamond' pulls you in because the character growth feels so real. It’s not just about Sawamura’s crazy pitches or Furuya’s raw talent; it’s how the whole team, even the benchwarmers, evolves over hundreds of chapters. You see them fail, adjust, and claw their way up. The rivalries aren't just between schools but within the team itself, which creates this constant, low-key tension that makes every game feel high-stakes. I love that the author doesn't shy away from the grind—the endless training, the strategic meetings, the mental blocks.

What really seals it for me is how the comedy and intensity balance. One moment you're stressed about a bases-loaded situation, the next you're laughing at Sawamura yelling or the coach's deadpan reactions. It avoids the trap of making the protagonist instantly the best, which so many sports series fall into. The pace can drag sometimes with the technical baseball talk, but honestly, that’s part of the charm—you end up learning about the sport alongside the characters.
