That’s all that matters to me. After chatting with our little man for a while longer. We give him fun-filled bubble bath, put him in his pajamas, and tuck him into bed. We sit with him for at least another hour reading his favorite bedtime stories until he falls into a deep, restful sleep. Even then, we don’t move. We’re too enraptured in the simple pleasure of watching our dear child sleep.

Ariane’s POV As the night grew late, I tucked them into bed. Before they fell asleep, they asked for a story. I sat on the edge of their bed, reading tales of adventure filled with courage and friendship. With every word, I hoped they could feel the same spirit—the spirit to face the world with their heads held high.

As she settled in beside him, Theo snuggled close, his small body seeking the warmth and comfort of her presence. "Mama Hazel, will you tell me a bedtime story?" Theo asked, his eyes filled with anticipation. Hazel smiled, her heart swelling with love for the sweet boy who had captured her heart. She began to weave a tale of magical adventures and brave heroes, her voice soft and soothing in the quiet of the night. As the story unfolded, Theo's eyelids grew heavy, his breathing slowing into the steady rhythm of sleep. Hazel watched over him, her hand resting on his back, feeling the gentle rise and fall of his chest with each breath.

Meg-hen: You are not the only one with a priestly friend and no, boys do not take up even a quarter of our conversation. Me: whatever you say. Falling asleep had become easier since I told Meghan about Freya and the night terrors have reduced considerably.

It is not a long story so I will quickly tell you. It was a very sunny day but Bia had chosen to read the book again instead of playing outside. And as you know, when she saw the world "treasure" her curiosity made her read all the rules very carefully. When she finished she first thought that the last rule was written by her own father, because he could not open one eye after 9pm. But most important for her was the last forbition. "I know you're awake, so get up." She groaned sleepily. "James, please, I fell asleep at three o'clock in the morning, so could you please shut up and let me sleep?" she asked, hugging the pillow beside her. "And it's not my fault you didn't go to bed early; we already talked about it, so don't give me that reason. Will you stand there, or will I drag you to the bathroom?" James threatened. She moaned once more. Damn, this jerk! Despite her love for him, there are times when she just wants to torture him. Does he not notice how sleepy I am?

“Oopsies!” She chuckled and shook her head, before looking up at the clock. It was near Anna’s bedtime. Quickly, after dinner, she helped the young one prepare for nighttime. She did her routine to her for two years; showering off all the dust from the playground, brushing her teeth, combing her hair, changing her into her favorite pair of Doc Mcstuffins pajamas, and long sleeves. “Which bedtime story do you wanna hear tonight, my love?” Lying in their bed, Anna was safely tucked in her blanket and ready to doze off. All that’s left is to make her sleepy with her stories every night. This was the last part of the night routine with Anna, one that she’ll never get tired of doing.

“What’s wrong, honey? Something’s wrong, I can tell in your voice. It’s all tight the way you get. Did something happen at work? Are you overtired? I know how independent you like to be, but it is okay to ask for help. You know I will try to help in any way I can.” “Mom, mom. Enough. It’s okay. Yeah, I’m working hard. I probably didn’t sleep well last night.” Juliette shook her head that she was using that one again. She had in fact slept well the night before. She’d taken a long bath and gone to bed early. Louis had asked that she leave a dinner that he could just set out since he was having a few people over for drinks. Ugh. That reminded her of his story about the girl the night before. S
