High school, Heartbreak and Hitbacks

High school, Heartbreak and Hitbacks

“Oh. Okay. I think I get it now. Is this because it’s not about werewolves and that shitty vamp—” “Goodbye Marcus” the middle-aged spokesperson said, ending the call in no time. He felt like throwing his laptop at something. Like punching someone. Like breaking something. Rejection hits hard the first time round, but this was the Seventh platform that rejected his book. The twelfth time he’d been rejected all in all. At this point, it felt like they were rejecting him to be honest. And he’d felt a lot of that through the years. He buried his face in his palms and gradually ran his hands through his stiff afro. Nobody saw it, nobody saw through the entire act, but it kind of felt like his lif

Going Rogue

Going Rogue

He was also feeling the pain of the rejection. “It will continue to get worse until you accept the rejection,” he grunted through his own pain. I didn’t know if this was true or not, but I didn’t know how much more of this I could take. It’s so rare for someone to actually reject their mate that there weren’t many details on what happened, or what it was like. The pain increased again, and Atticus and I were both physically bending under the pain and the weight of the rejection. “Accept it,” he growled.

This was actually a really good book. Glad I gave it a try. She really was trying to help in her own way but some people are just so selfish. I hate that she had to go through all of that but I’m glad she got a happy ending.

Good story, different from many other stories and there was some surprises... Really a tragic story even if it ended well in the end. I did skip easy over some parts to get faster through the story, but the plot was interesting.

HE REJECTED ME AT THE ALTER

HE REJECTED ME AT THE ALTER

I write: *What I would say:* *The rejection is the beginning of the correct story. Not the beginning of your recovery from a wrong story — the beginning of the right one. The door that closes is the door that was between you and your actual life. On the other side of it: a city that knows your name. A corner table. A leather bookmark left without explanation. A man who asks what matters before anything else. A brother who points at you in approval and then goes to find bread. A woman who keeps records for forty years so you will have what you need when you arrive. A building with a map in its stone that has been waiting for you specifically.*

Her Spirit Wolf

Her Spirit Wolf

Correct pronunciation of words is mandatory or rejection will not occur. Why? The wolves must understand the rejection or they will keep waiting. Pain, agony and anger will occur within each werewolf after the rejection, because it is like doing soul-splitting. Without soul-splitting, rejection fails to occur or is considered non-existent. ***** ******** 1/4 12:48 The Alpha King’s Fated Mate I had tears in my eyes after reading it. Bullsh*t… this is bullsh*t!!! +5 vouchers I looked up to stare at the man standing silently in front of me as I read this nonsense book in his office.

Fated With Two Mates

Fated With Two Mates

“Oh my god. Alice…” ‘Enough with the questions. I have a news for you’ I tilted my head. “News? What news? Is it good? Bad?” ‘The rejection might have worked.’ I breathed in, and nodded. “Okay. What do we do now?” ‘You do know that rejecting your date doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be alone forever, right?’ Of course. After rejection, I heard another one will come to you. But I didn’t think about that earlier since I had no wolf—

THE REJECTION

THE REJECTION

I cry harder, wishing I could just fall asleep and never wake up. I was so foolish to think Luca could ever love me. Maybe I misread the signs. Maybe I was too hopeful. Or maybe I just wanted it so badly that I convinced myself it was possible. But now, after the way he looked at me when I poured my heart out, I know. There was no spark in his eyes, no warmth. Only pity. It’s over. And I’ve accepted that. As painful as it is, I know when to stop fighting. This time, I’ll let go. I have to. It’s the only way I’ll ever find peace.

Rejected Before the Mark

Rejected Before the Mark

"I spent six months looking for you. I crossed the entire continent, asking every soul who might have seen you." "You shouldn't have." "Come back to me. Be my Luna. My only Luna," he begged, his voice cracking. "I swear, Selene. This time... I'll get it right." My eyes instantly welled with tears. But I couldn't give in. "Get up," I said coldly. "You're making a scene." "Then promise me you'll come back." "No." I took a deep breath and made the cruelest choice. "You're right. I did reject you. I was tired of the one-sided pain. I was tired of being tied to a man who didn't love me."

Rejection and Marriage

Rejection and Marriage

Like how Kimberly's yelling is about to damage my precious eardrums. I would love to reject Jake, to be honest. At least that's one problem aside, the mate bond won't interfere with my thinking and reasoning. But we already know what happens even after rejection. Nothing. Nothing happens. Instead, the bond between us weakens, only to get stinger as time passes. Should I reject him this time? I mean when the bond is weak, it won't work properly. That will buy me a bit of time to clear my head. "I'll go," I said out of the blue. I figured I could use a drink or two with the way my head threatens to burst from overthinking things.

The Perfect Rejection

The Perfect Rejection

"What?" He sighed again, putting a finger under my chin and looking closer at my neck. He was looking at the scars, I just knew it. I shrunk away from him and shoved his hand away, my eyes wide as my chest tightened. "All the pain and suffering you endured, you didn't deserve any of it. You are extremely special and your mate should have treasured you. His decision to reject you was a reflection of him, not you. I hope you understand that." I was crying before I could even process his words. "He only rejected me because I was an omega. If my parents were still alive, I would have been an alpha," I gritted out, my voice cracking with emotion.
