Mom, We Got You a Husband!

Mom, We Got You a Husband!

--- After dinner, Cassidy drove Anna to Edwards Group. “Thank you for having me over,” Anna said as she got out of the car. “You're welcome.” Anna adjusted the strap of her yellow duck bag. “I'll see you at the show.” “See you there.” Cassidy waited until Anna had entered the building. Then she turned the car toward Helton Group. She still had designs to revise, and Larissa had yet to make her decision. There was only a week left before the show. Cassidy tightened her grip on the steering wheel and headed back to work.

Through The Gate Of Love

“Seems none of what I said gets into your head. You’re too dull to…” Rowan’s words trailed off. She jerked her leg hard, freeing it from Anna's grasp, and Anna fell to the ground. “Oh!” Anna moaned, feeling a heavier pain than the previous fall. She rolled on the floor, struggling for almost a minute before she could lift her head from the ground, while Rowan watched with a faint smile and her face etched with satisfaction.

The Billionaire's Baby Boom; Nine Months Of Chaos

CHAPTER 69_ Doom “I’ve waited for so long to finally see that wicked and heartless old man meet his doom. Him getting arrested wasn’t exactly what I hoped for but it’s a great start and I hope he rots away in a cell.” Anna whimpered, dabbing the piece of clothing under her eyebags to wipe her tears off. Her eyes fell on her little grandson who was in Clara arms sucking on his bottle. Today was indeed a sad day for all of them.

I Fell For An Alpha

I Fell For An Alpha

she told Jacob knowing full well he understood her. Jacob understood and without hesitation weaving through the iron gate they thought secured. Silent as mist, he darted into the dense underbrush, paws brushing over the slick grass as he fled. When Kliara’s Father and the hunters recovered, the courtyard lay empty aside from the pale traces left in moonlight and the silver shafts of broken arrows. The cloud drifted back, veiling the moon once more and with it, Jacob’s triumphant silhouette vanished into the night.

Till We Fall

Till We Fall

He looks away from me and addresses someone I can't see because of the inclination of my head. "You didn't have to hit him so hard," he says. I try to raise my head, ignoring the pain threatening to tear down my sanity. "He didn't have to hit him at all," Collin Rodriguez says, throwing his son, Clade, a glare. I spare Clade a glance to see a metal rod stained with red lying at his foot. "That's enough!" The female officer says and soon she blocks my view. "Handcuff him," she tells one of the male officers with her and he obliges.

It is a great story. Really long but worth your money. Building on one character at a go. The end was abit slow but once you grasp the writing style it gets prolific and you cannot stop until you reach the end. By then there is no more to say.
Noah

Godfather Wants Me

Godfather Wants Me

I tried to pass by unnoticed by them but Anna saw me. "You!" Anna exclaimed, her voice trembling with anger and grief. "You killed my baby!" My heart sank at Anna's accusation, but I knew I had to set her straight. Taking a deep breath, I squared my shoulders and met Anna's gaze head-on. "No, Anna, that's not true," I replied firmly, my voice steady despite the turmoil raging inside me. "The doctor told me the truth. Your baby was lost before the fall. It was because of the medication you took. You killed your baby, Anna.” Anna's eyes widened in shock as my words sank in.

A LADY FOR A DUKE

A LADY FOR A DUKE

Then one day he was in his office working when his Aunt burst through the door, her face white as death. “Anna fell!” He died a thousand deaths in the three seconds it took him to jump from his chair and follow her to the base of the stairs where Anna was sitting on the marble floor clutching her left ankle. Juliet crouched beside her. There was no blood, she wasn’t unconscious. Nothing looked broken. She was okay. His heart was hammering so hard and he felt so light-headed with relief he nearly joined her on the floor. “What happened?” “My ankle,” Anna said. “It gave out on me when I was walking down the stairs.”
