I didn't know but then how Lila, kia, Mason and I became best friends still baffles me. Because the last time I checked, we were just strangers having who had feelings for each other now we are friends? I guess that's what the heaven wants so be it. The gym smelled like sweat, rubber flooring, and whatever cheap body spray the hockey team drowned themselves in after morning practice. PHE class was supposed to be easy credits. I said and brushed passed her and went to the built in gym before heading to the punching bag. "If you punch it any harder its going to fall of its hinges" a rough voice said making me glance over to see Sage and Aaron on the doorway of the gym and I rolled my eyes retuning to my abuse on the punching bag. Sweat covered my forehead and body as I continued to work out. And like Sage said, the damn punching bag fell off its hinges two minutes after he said it. I was now at the weight section of the gym. My muscles protested as I lifted the heavy weights, teeth clenched and eyes screwed shut.

Enough was enough. The next evening after work I drove straight to the big gym downtown. The parking lot was full of nice cars. I sat in my seat for five minutes, nervous, before I finally walked in. The place smelled like clean sweat and rubber mats. Music pumped from the speakers. Everywhere I looked there were handsome young guys lifting weights, their arms and shoulders flexing under the bright lights. They moved with confidence, laughing with each other, completely focused on their routines. None of them paid me much attention. I felt out of place in my old leggings and baggy t-shirt.

I went to pick up the fallen crutch and made my way back to her. "Shit," I mumbled as I spotted paparazzi taking pictures of us, I guessed the girl must have informed them, who else? When Bella shot me a questioning look, I breathed out "paparazzi." She didn't respond or anything, she gave me a small shrug and focused on Dylan who was balancing three ice creams in his hands. I guessed she was used to the attention, besides she was an ex model after all. Dylan said something before handing us the ice cream. "Thanks, champ." I said ruffling his hair, Bella just smiled at him and busied herself with her mint chocolate ice cream.
