“You mistake pragmatism for sentiment. I didn’t come here to reminisce, Ace.”
Ace set his glass down on the desk, leaning back in his chair. “Then why are you here? It’s been what, ten years?”
“Twelve,” Kade corrected, stepping closer. “But who’s counting?”
