Novel & Cerita Alexandra Bracken Books

As she spoke, Kirklin still couldn’t fathom what she was driving at as what she had said didn’t strike a chord but he had to listen attentively to avoid another slap. Alexandra got up and opened a tiny drawer in her room and brought out a brown envelope that she had kept the bracelet in for years. “Take,” she said as she handed it over to Kirklin. He was still very confused and he took the envelope and opened it.

Every wolf in the clearing turned toward me. Hands moved to weapons. Eyes flashed amber. Sera’s expression went very still. The Brackenhold woman studied me from head to muddy boots. “You are Lena Frost.” “I am.” “The blood witch.” “Depends who is speaking.” Her mouth curved faintly. “And who are you asking?” “Someone willing to listen before repeating Damien.” The male wolf beside her snarled. “You should watch your mouth.” Garran stood beside me. “Heard that before.” The wolf looked at him.

She rushed over, grabbed Brenna’s hand, and pulled her toward the door. Catherine’s grip seemed to have triggered Brenna. The banished Luna yanked her hand out of Catherine’s grip. She instead grabbed Catherine’s shoulders, forcing the omega to look at her. “Tell me! What do you bribe Sir Alex with? He just can’t give you the pack for free. You must have given him something.” Brenna sounded so determined. Her nonsensical words ever sounded so true to her ears. She believed it was the truth, and it had to be the only and only truth!

With a heavy groan, I reached out and collected it from her, my fingers lightly brushing against hers. “What is this?”, I asked with a frown, tearing open the package. I tore open the package, expecting the generic cologne or watch. But instead, my eyes widened as I revealed a… a book? "A book?" I asked, my tone incredulous. Alexandra's smile faltered, and she nodded hesitantly. "Yes...I thought you might like it." I turned the book over, recognizing the cover. It was one of the cheesy romance books, not a new release, but an older title. I raised an eyebrow.

It wasn’t male either. It was both. And neither. And it knew him. He slammed the book shut. The flames on the torches flickered. > “Someone’s protecting her. Someone older than any of us.” Alex turned to leave—but before he did, he noticed one book... tucked deep into the wall, half-hidden behind a cracked obsidian skull. Its title glowed faintly: “The First-born Flame: Records of the One Who Watched the Moon.” He reached for it. But the moment his fingertips touched the leather, the runes around the library pulsed—and the book… vanished.

"I don't think I understand what you're trying to say…" Dominus smirked a little at him. "You won't, no one does. But with time you will." _______________ Alexandra had no idea how she landed in the basement. She had no memories of it. The last thing she remembered was searching for the Ginnak book. She could smell dangers coming after her. The Circle or whatever hasn't helped in any way. She was detecting things… shadows of different creatures shouting out to her to let them through. They were struggling to come out of a place she didn't understand where it was.
