Alexandra Bracken Books Novels & Stories

she answered getting up, "Besides, it's spring, you can use them without roasting like a chicken, you have beautiful legs and they look very long even with your short height, a loose top and you will be pure dynamite." She gave me a greenish top and I was about to put it on when she stopped me in horror. “Please tell me what I see is not a sports bra, because I will kill the person who bought it.” "Well, Alex told me...” "Alex is a fucking hypocrite,” she interrupted, "Fortunately for you and unfortunately for him, they brought me a section of lustful and scarcely woven underwear from La Perla." “Oh, Alex took me there on Monday, but he pulled me out when I asked about a strange piece of clo

UNKNOWN (P.O.V.) Stupid bitch! She is going to ruin everything. I stayed hidden in the bushes as I listened in to their conversation. How does she know about the pictures?! As a matter of fact, why do they still exist? Are these people that stupid to leave evidence laying around? I need to handle this as soon as possible. Alexandra is getting too close to finding out. Alex (P.O.V.) As I drove back to school, I pondered on what my next move would be. There is something going on. I can just feel it.

"You don't have to tell me that. The whole city's gone mad and we're just in June!" We hung up and I looked out the window, waiting for Brynne. I pulled out her mobile from my pocket and brought up the text that had ruined my otherwise peaceful day. Some bloke named Alex Craven from the Victoria and Albert Museum that I would just love to turn into a eunuch: Brynne, Lovely seeing you again today. Brill on the Mallerton too. I'd very much love to take you to dinner and discuss further how we can get you on staff. Didn't know you modeled but now I've seen your pictures I must know more! -Alex

Alexandra lowered her head as his words felt like a sharp sword stabbing through her heart. She has lived all her life in her father's house like a shadow and in her supposed husband's house, she also has to be invisible. What crime did she commit to have a fate this cruel? “Did you understand?” Bryan asked, tightening his grip. Alexandra nodded, tears flowing freely down her eyes. “Ye-Yes.” “Good,” Bryan smirked, then pointed at the down. “Now get out!”

After a couple of hours pass, we are finally called for dinner where we are introduced to the rest of the horde. Nathalia's and Alec's horde is very small when compared to my own. But you can tell the strength of their warriors with one glance. When Nathalia and Alec enter the dining hall they are accompanied by a young werewolf. He is dressed in a white tunic with a bearskin cloak draped over his shoulders. A large battle-ax is strapped to his back. His long blonde hair is done up in five braids. Three small braids are positioned at the top of his head and two thicker ones line the sides of his head. He has a beard that is short on the sides but long and braided at the chin. His icy blue ey

Brayden looked up from his computer and across the room at Meredith. “Greta, have a seat on the couch. I’m almost finished with this.” He told her and then continued to type away at something. Meredith took a moment to look at the books on the bookshelf. There were mostly business book and biographies or books inspiring greatness lining the wall. She noticed one book was displayed next to a framed photo. The photo was a woman that looked a lot like Brayden and a boy about ten years old who looked like a younger version of Brayden. She assumed it must be Brayden and his mother. The book that was displayed on a stand next to the photo was Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

As soon as we got back to Silver City, I would be confessing all to Alpha Romanov, and beg to reject the arrangement, I was just Bram’s imaginary fortune-telling golden ticket. I cursed myself for not realising sooner that Bram knew about Alexander, he’d mentioned the curtains in the ballroom during the dance of connection and he would obviously know his brother’s scent. Perhaps the flowers were the final straw, if he knew they’d come from Alexander in my room. Perhaps he’s just a nasty thug Fyre growled who needs putting in place. I hoped with all my being that Alexander was safe, that Bram hadn't made it impossible for him to find safety away from me.

Brooke. “Here,” Alexander sidles next to me on the table I am sitting at, with a book open in front of me. He shows me the book he’d found just now. It’s a book with a dark, leather cover with the title ‘Creatures of the Lunar woods’ on it, “I read the synopsis, and it’s got a section dedicated to all the packs in the Lunar woods. Granted the book was written decades ago, but most of the packs in the woods are ancient, so almost all of them are still here.”

It was just a matter of time. “Because I’m from Blackrock, our pack has a lot of money, and I’m the girlfriend of the pack Delta.” She uttered and I considered that it made sense, I exceed if she was involved with the pack hierache she would have to have a backbone, I doubt this was the first time I high ranking officials girlfriend or mate was taken, but I did stick on girlfriend for a moment, not mated.

Beaten to her own thought, she decided to lay down back again. Opening the current book she’s reading “How To Keep A Secret” by Sophie Kinsella, she started reading from where she left off last night. However, Alexandra was not able to comprehend the written words as her mind is preoccupied. Thinking about tomorrow, she decided to close the book, put it on her bedside table beside the lampshade, and turned to her right side. With her palms put together, pressing against her cheek, she closed her eyes, smiling, and started to make up scenarios of what will happen tomorrow with Jacob. By the time she opened her eyes again, the view of the digital clock beside her appeared and showed two-thirty
