Under The Mafia's Veil

Under The Mafia's Veil

Zade walked over to his desk, picked up a document, and handed it to her. "What's this?" Alice asked apprehensively. "I'm sure your eyes aren't for decoration; read it," Zade said coldly, picking up a stick of weed and placing it between his pale lips. Alice pressed her lips into a thin line. The document stated she had to recover a package for Enzo at the borders of Albania. Her eyes widened in disbelief. She had heard about that place. It was a death trap, protected by another strong mafia group. If she went alone, she would be killed instantly—it was literally a suicide mission.

She not making any sense “ he can find out who hired him” “ oh aw, I’m sad I was quite enjoying that you know,” Selene says with actual sadness in her face, knocking him out I started dragging him behind me to the packhouse. The Alpha’s Girl

The Alpha’s Girl

The best kind. Eventually the girls gave up interrogating and started singing along to the radio…so loud, off-key, windows down. Elvins pretended to be annoyed but I caught him smiling in the mirror. As the city gave way to trees and rolling hills, the pack border came into view. The invisible line that separated our territory from the human world shimmered faintly in my senses, like stepping through warm water. Elvins slowed the SUV as we passed the old wooden sign that read “Private Property – No Trespassing.” To humans it looked like a random farm road. To us, it was home.

I’m enjoying this book, has some unexpected twists I did not see coming. But there are some inconsistencies in the storyline. The main villain was said to be stuck in his wolf form and could not change back to human form, but then in later chapters he’s fighting the male lead in human form?

The Alpha's Cursed Bride

The Alpha's Cursed Bride

sound muffled, visibility limited to what the torches illuminated, movement tracked by ear more than by eye. Alena found the woman in under twenty minutes. She had set up a waiting position in a small clearing approximately sixty metres inside the northern boundary marker ... she had crossed the boundary, which was the first technical offence, but had come no further, which was the first indication that her purpose was not aggressive. She had her bag at her feet and her hands visible and she looked up when Alena and the border wolves converged on her position with the expression of someone who has been expecting this and is relieved that the waiting part is over.

Shift

Shift

My voice was scratchy and quiet but the hands holding me tightened, telling me that they heard me. “We are leaving now. I’m bringing you home.” I nodded, leaning against his chest as he picked me up like I weighed nothing. My eyes were too heavy to open so I just listened to the wind as Alan raced through the forest. “Kat, love, you need to break the bond when we cross the border. After that, you can sleep, alright?”

10 out of 10! This book had me hooked from start to finish and has me wanting more! Not saying that you have to but this would make a great series, a book for each main character, I'd read them all! Glad to hear you're feeling better, keep taking care of yourself and writing these awesome stories! ...

So far, so good. I like the author's writing style and ability to have both strong and weak female & male characters. There are some grammar and spelling errors, but minor and easy to overlook. Better communication regarding updates would be appreciated, but this platform is not for career money.

The Blacklisted Rogue

The Blacklisted Rogue

My past didn’t hold me back anymore. I could do this. “I’d be honored, Alpha.” I replied. We shifted and took off towards the border. The Blue Eclipse army followed our lead and fell in line behind us. When we reached the border, I carefully trotted along the edge and smelled the air to find a good entry point. When I found it, I mindlinked Alpha Jordan. “Over here.” I ran across the border with the others behind me. When we all had entered the territory, we split up and searched for the border patrols. It didn’t take long until we found them and we were quickly engaged in a fight.

The Alpha's Return

The Alpha's Return

Arabella replied, her eyes sparkling with amusement. As I continued to move closer, the world outside ceased to exist. There was only her, her enchanting eyes and teasing smile, her intoxicating scent, and the magnetic pull between us. My hands instinctively moved to her waist, tracing the contour of her figure through the fabric of her dress. They then traveled down towards her bum, lifting the hem of her dress as they went. The only barrier that remained was the thin piece of black lace that she wore. With a swift motion, I moved her thong aside and gently guided her until she was lying flat over the dressing table.
