The Wrong Match That Got It Right

The Wrong Match That Got It Right

"You were wrong about how she would react. You were wrong about how long she would wait for you to come back. And you were wrong about what she was capable of when someone gave her a better option." Derek sat back down on the closed lid of the toilet. His hand was still bleeding. The hole in the wall was still there. The photo of Sloane and Caden Ashford outside the courthouse was still burned into the back of his eyes and no amount of sitting in this bathroom was going to change that. He said: "What did you actually do. All of it. What is this." She said: "What do you mean."

HE REJECTED ME AT THE ALTER

HE REJECTED ME AT THE ALTER

* In its own inadequate way. I breathe in this information. I breathe it out. *You have been in the wrong place,* I say. Not with anger. With the particular honesty of someone who has spent enough time in the wrong place to know what it costs. *That does not make you wrong. It makes you lost.* The cold in the room shifts. Just slightly. Like a temperature change — not warm, but less cold. *I am not leaving,* it says. *I know,* I say. *Not tonight. But you will leave. Because I am here now and the city will close around me the way it closes around its own. And eventually there will be no space left for something that does not belong here.*

The Wrong Kind of Meat

The Wrong Kind of Meat

Until one day, one of her clients suddenly showed up at their door with a group of men. "You filthy wretch! You knew you had AIDS and still sold yourself! You infected me too! I'm going to beat you to death today!" Only then did Cindy and Franklin realize they'd somehow contracted AIDS themselves. Both of them were beaten black and blue. Knowing they didn't have much time left, Franklin and Cindy began blaming each other nonstop. Franklin kicked Cindy hard in the stomach. "I turned into this because of you, you wretch! "If it weren't for you, I'd still be a high-ranking executive with a girlfriend worth millions like Shannon! You ruined everything!"

Claimed By The Wrong Brother

Claimed By The Wrong Brother

Chapter Ten MADONNA I padded myself up after a cold shower, thanks to the set of panties and pads that was sent last night. I had to put on the smelly hoodie again since I had nothing to wear. I hated that I had to wear it again, but I had no choice. Everything in this place reminded me that I didn’t belong here, that I was just someone thrown into a world I didn’t understand. My body still felt sore and tired, and even standing made my legs ache, but I forced myself to move anyway.

THE WRONG BROTHER

THE WRONG BROTHER

I hug my jacket tighter. "Where are we even going?" I ask. "My place," he says shortly. "At least until we figure this out." I hesitate. "You think that is a good idea?" He unlocks the car, then looks at me. "No. But it is the safest bad idea we have got." I slide into the seat, still trying to make sense of it all. He starts the engine, and for a while, neither of us says anything. When we finally pull into the underground garage beneath his building, the air changes. Everything here is quiet, expensive, and private. The kind of place where people like Rhys Van Allen disappear when the world gets too loud.

The Wrong Mate: His Loyalty Was Not to Me

The Wrong Mate: His Loyalty Was Not to Me

I tried password after password, but each time the computer said it was incorrect. Then, suddenly, I remembered Joanna's birthday. My hands were shaking as I typed it in. The moment I hit enter, the computer unlocked, and I was in. The desktop background was a photo of Alexander and Joanna together at Moonlight Cove, which had always been her favorite vacation spot. I opened Alexander's social media account. His cover photo was another picture of him and Joanna, both smiling sweetly.

Perfectly Wrong For Me

She listened to the music play for a moment. 🎶 Walkin' out of time Lookin' for a better place (lookin' for a better place) Something's on my mind (mind) Always in my head space But I know some day I'll make it out of here Even if it takes all night or a hundred years Need a place to hide, but I can't find one near Wanna feel alive, outside I can't fight my fear. 🎶 Kimberlee quietly climbed down the bed and looked for her bag.

The Wrong Brother

The Wrong Brother

Everyone else came and congratulated us. "I still owe you a ring Millie Mouse since you stole my chance to propose," Hayden said. "Yeap, I win," I smirked. I didn't care about the ring or anything else. All I wanted was the guy of my dreams, and he was standing right in front of me. His pale blue eyes were gazing into mine. I encircled my arms around his neck and got lost in his kiss. ___ end ___ Thank you everyone for reading The Wrong Brother! Please be sure to check out my other stories in this platform:

I'm glad I was able to read it! Spent my evening reading this. And yes, I liked it! Though it was somehow on a quick pace. Two of your books already unlocked in my library, and I'm hoping to read it soon. Thanks for the book! Keep writing! 👏🏾 Hayllie 🐖🐱

I loved this book so much. Though the chapters were short. The book didn't take up to quarter of a day to be done with it. It was funny, interesting. I feel sad that it ended. This is your Fifth book I'm completing and didn't get tired of reading. I hope to read more of your books. Talented author!❤

All The Wrong Reasons

All The Wrong Reasons

“I picked up the wrong girl that night then. I thought you would think highly of me.” “So conceited! Just because the whole of New York thinks you’re a god, doesn’t mean I do, too.” “And you were the one that mattered.” He shook his head. “Damn! I think I made a move on the wrong girl that night.” She raised a brow. “Okay, so you’re sorry now? All right. I won’t put up a fight!” she snapped and started to stand up from the bed. He pulled her back and pinned her between his body and the mattresses.

Great Story & definitely worth a read. I do wish the book had better editing & proofreading. This author is extremely talented, but the little errors here & there keep the book at A- level instead of A+. I do wish the female leads, especially in this story, were a bit brighter & street smart.
