I awake as the sun shines into the room at the break of dawn, sighing I sit up and look around. I slept in the extra room on the Alpha's floor. It's very hard to believe since this floor is for the Alpha's, Beta's, family and Luna, if they have one. I'm guessing the Loren doesn't have one, I've yet heard about one or seen one however I could be wrong.

Killian’s POV The hall smelled like roasted meat and sweat. Long wooden tables stretched from one end to the other, packed with boys who were loud and half-starved after training. Plates clanged, mugs slammed against wood, and laughter bounced off the stone walls. It was chaotic, but this was normal. This was Alpha Academy. I walked in, boots heavy on the ground. My eyes scanned the room.

"Go and get your room number and roommate information. Welcome to Alpha Academy." "Thanks," I grumbled, standing up. My palms were sweaty as I scanned the list of names. The Academy system is fucked up, it was obvious that Alpha blood was always going to be treated differently, she was actually telling me I was going to take a fall for them. There was a brief silence before she added, “One more thing.” I looked up nervously. “You should start preparing to move into the Alpha dormitory,” she stated “It is mandatory for matched students. Since your matches are both Alphas, you will be joining them in their dorm soon. I must have looked completely horrified because she chuckled softly. “Don’t worry, it is standard procedure. Separate rooms, of course, but shared living space. You’ll have time to adjust.” she tried to assure me but honestly, I was not assured.

Jace takes me to the third floor of the mansion. As we step out of the elevator, I see a huge sitting room with several sets of couches. About five French doors open onto this room, all with a distinct color. "This is the Alpha floor. Here is where Cleo and I have an apartment and over there, in the corner is Jasper's. You get the one where the Gamma usually resides," he explained to me. "As the Luna of a friendly pack, you are supposed to be accommodated in style. I hope this one is to your liking".

The memories, no matter how I tried to reach out to them, I could never, but their traces left behind a hollow ache in my chest. “I’ll send a file to you; it has all the names and important things you should know about the Alphas. You don’t need to worry much about Elders; knowing their names would suffice. You haven’t been around for six years; it's understandable if you don’t remember anything about them.” He handed me the tablet. “But this Alpha you need to pay attention to; he was our roommate in Lycora Academy, so you ought to remember him.”

Now those skills would be my salvation. "Registration f*e is $250." I handed over most of my remaining cash, praying my meager savings account in the States would sustain me until I could figure out a more permanent solution. As I walked through the campus, surrounded by young werewolf men who had no idea a female walked among them, I felt a flicker of hope for the first time since coming home.

We locked gaze with her for a few seconds, I could tell she was nervous. I would be nervous too if I were a toddler and four strangers suddenly pulled up in front of my house. “Hy?” Her tiny voice shook. Her breath hitched as she was unsure of what to say next. My lips parted to reply when she suddenly dashed inside, leaving the door slightly open. The triplets and I exchanged a quizzical look before glancing at the door. “Mummy, the Alphas are here!” She let out a shrill scream. “Oh, God,” Hael groaned inaudibly while Kieran poked him by the side of his stomach, mouthing, ‘We are popular’

Even if it is a three story house. There was one room on the third floor that was the Alpha’s bedroom and it was still vacant for when Tyler returned. I was in the Beta’s bedroom on the third floor and I was just as happy here. When I got up one morning I went to the gym for a while before I went to have a shower and I got dressed for the day.

"Follow me, I'll take you to your room." The packhouse was huge and my jaw dropped in awe. The ceiling was high up and the walls had a Victorian period feel to them. We went up the stairs and stopped on the second floor. "Your room will be here. Alpha stays on the third floor, so try to avoid it unless he calls for you," Jake says as he opens the first door on the right. Walking in I'm speechless, there's a kingsized bed by beautiful double doors. The headboard is a puffed white and my room is at least 3 times the size of my room back at the Blood Moon pack. "Thank you," I say with my head bowed.
