Maybe he thought that we were just kids, but he still welcomed us and introduced us to his ranked officials. Everything was good on our first day. We decided to schedule the meeting for the next day, and the alpha toured us around, showing us how beautiful his pack was, we were amazed at how beautiful it was. His Luna is very welcoming, but I can tell that she’s a human. I later found out that she was also the reason why the pack was prosperous.

The urge to smack it off his face overwhelmed me, but I knew it would only upset Selena, so I held myself back. “That’s enough, Lucian. I was on my way there, and I would have joined you even if you didn’t come up here.” Selena chipped in and tried to get Lucian to turn around and walk away, but he just wouldn’t.

The one beside me transformed into a confident Luna who knew exactly what she was doing. She smiled beautifully at the royals and curtsied flawlessly to the King. And before I knew it, she was already conversing with the Luna seated next to her. If you had no idea who they were, you would have thought they’d been friends for many years. But truth be told, the Luna next to her, Luna Tamia, was married to one of the Alphas who was a friend to Kael. In short, that Alpha, was not someone who liked me.
