“Amanda!” Gordon called out. She didn’t stop, she kept walking away angrily. Gordon ran after her until she finally stopped. “This is a curse. I want to be free from it, I just wish you can understand. All my life, I’ve clung to the possibility of getting rid of the pain that comes with turning on the full moon. Okay, that aside, what if I’m in trouble, how will I defend myself?” Amanda said. She hoped Gordon would take pity on her and help her out.

I know she wanted to take a selfie with me so I laid out my hands open in the air to receive her phone. But I swear I almost melted down in embarrassment when she just gave me her what-the-hell-are-you-doing look and then walk passed me towards whoever is behind my back. I was… I was totally dumbfounded. I even blinked my eyes several times just to swallow what happened. Damn you, Meda. Damn you for assuming too much. I closed my eyes tightly and bit my lip hard. With hands folded into fists and gritted teeth, I turned around. “Uhm, hi. My name is Amara,” the girl greeted and presented her hand for a handshake.

Amanda told me about her special skills. She wasn't the strongest fighter, but she and her brother, Nicor, had unique regeneration abilities. I wish she had told me about her little secret earlier, but I was amazingly glad that she was going to be all right. I stood in awe, watching the wounds disappear from her body. It was the first time someone complimented me, so I didn't know how to react. The girl chirped again, "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Amanda. My mother is Amelinda, the organizer of this charity event. I just turned fifteen years old. I am currently studying while serving in Sir Darian's army. I am very pleased to get to know you." I watched Amanda as she spoke and felt that she did not have a hint of malice toward me. My mood gradually relaxed, and I began to enjoy this lively and lovely girl.

Amanda screamed as much as she could, but Oriaga smiled and caressed her face. "Scream until you run out of strength because your voice won't leave this room. Try to do it, Amanda." "YOU'RE SUCH AN ASSHOLE, ORIAGA!!!" Amanda's consciousness was lost after screaming. The woman no longer made a sound and provoked panic in Oriaga's face. ***

Inside the main hall, the four maids-Perla, Korina, Mel, and Angela-were on their knees, bruised and shaking, crying as Baron stood before them with blood on his fists.

Amanda had a slight panic attack and we see her reminiscing over the past and let's not forget when she found her father, she had just shown us at that point, she was just human, dealing with her pains.

Amanda feels very tired already. It has been a month now since her mother was admitted to the hospital. And she needs to juggle three jobs to be able to meet all the needs they needed and pay bills at the same time. But inspite of her struggles,the cash still doesn't add up to the bills that needed to be payed.

That would raise so many questions about work ethics, and a lot more that Noah wouldn't even have answers for.
