She lay in the tub as her nerves began to calm, but thoughts of Linda bullying still flooded through her head. Few minutes later, Amelia was still in the bathtub, deep asleep. Her eyes flipped open, and all she could see was water. Surprisingly, she was drowning. She stood up from the bathtub in despair, wondering why she didn't drown—like she was some kind of witch or what.

Amelia’s voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I turned to her with a small smile. She is ten now, and she has grown into a splitting image of Samantha. Her curly hair is braided in two fishtails down her back and she was wearing a yellow sundress with matching pointe shoes- she must have just finished with dance. I stood up from the basement floor and brushed dust off my trousers, “Are you okay?” She nodded, “What are you doing here?” “I was looking at pictures of your mum,” I admitted and an unreadable expression crossed her face, “Do you want to join me?”

Amy said with her hands clasped together, her eyes were shining while looking at Amelia. Amelia had her long curly brown hair braided and tied in a half knot with small flowers attached to the braid. The dress that she chose showed her prominent collarbones and subtly revealed her evident curves. She wore dainty accessories that complimented the dress and on her left finger was the ring that Damian gave her. Because she already had a natural beauty, she only wore light makeup. Truly, Amelia looked like a fairy who descended on the human realm. "Madam Lia! You're really beautiful! Just like a princess!" Maisy commented loudly.

The day she finds her mate. The pack had always made Amelia feel like an outsider. Her half-sister, Caroline, was the golden child, the favored daughter of Alpha Miller and Luna Hannah. Amelia, the product of a short, regretted relationship before her father had met Luna Hannah, had never belonged. Her father seldom spoke to her, and Luna Hannah treated her with thinly veiled disdain. The rest of the pack followed suit, making sure Amelia knew she was only tolerated and never loved. The idea of finding a mate had been Amelia's hope, her one wish. Perhaps he could see her and understand her-even love her. Maybe this was the one to break chains binding her in loneliness since childhood.

It is hidden so well one can only find it if they know it exists. A room like structure emerges from the middle of the lake and a ramp extends to the edge of the lake so that we can go inside that room without getting ourselves wet. The woman nodded and turned back to her dishes. Amelia let out a sigh of quiet relief and crept further down, hidden in the shadows of the house next to the inn. She slowly descended to the ground. When she was finally close enough to jump to the ground without harming herself, she leapt lightly to the ground and crouched near the building. A few moments passed and she held her breath, waiting to see if anyone had heard her. When she felt she was safe, she rose and crept around the back of the inn toward the barn. She was determined to reach the impleva and escape before Bram realized she was gone.
