I wondered why Nelson did not come to the lounge with Alexei and Clay. I was still dressing up when Amelia walked in. She was surprised to see me in the room. She must have thought I would still be in the lounge. "Where are you going?" She asked me, opening her bag to go through her stuff. It seemed she was searching for something. I asked her what it was, and she smiled. "Bathing suit. Tamia is throwing a pool party for us. We are trying to act as if all is normal just in case the estate is being watched." She said, and I fought the urge to roll my eyes.

"That garden is to die for" Poppy gapes openly out the wide windows as she scans her gaze over the large area. It does look like it could be a field that's only contained by a tall lining of trees to mark the edge of the property. "Oh my god there's a pool, but you can't swim?" Poppy asks, turning to her in confusion. "Rhode taught me a little, and I'll learn how to get better eventually" Amelia says with a small grin before leading us all down the hallway and opening up one of the doors and examining the room for herself before standing back with a joyful grin.

"Does Nina have any enemies? Any reason someone would break in and take her things?" Amelia shook her head, "No, she keeps to herself mostly. She's a software developer, and she's a brilliant coder. She can hack any computer defense at the drop of a hat, but she hasn't been working on anything..." She trailed off and looked like she was going to cry, "What?" I inquired desperately. "The only thing she's been working on outside of her day job is trying to get past MID's firewalls. She took it on as a side project to help us out. This is my fault," Amelia answered, guilt lacing her voice.
