he growled, pinning her wrists above her head.
“Dixal, stop! You’re hurting me!” she cried, tears threatening as he kissed her neck—hard, punishing, nothing tender in his touch. When his lips found hers, the bite stung so much she wasn’t sure if she bled.
She struggled to breathe, to push him away. “Dixal, please…” Her voice cracked as tears slipped from her eyes.
He suddenly stopped. Their eyes met.
“Do you really hate me that much, Amor?” he asked quietly, pain flickering in his gaze.
