CHAPTER 2

Anastasia POV

His piercing, icy blue eyes, were staring at me. Could it be him?

It can't be, can it?

Is it the new mystery hot guy from the underground?

What am I saying? Hot? Seriously Anastasia?

"Miss Black," he said taking me out of my gaze.

"Yeah?"

"Let's get to work, I don't have time to waste. If you are going to work for me, you're going to have to be quick and awake,"

"Okay, so bossy," I said in a low voice not wanting him to hear it.

"I heard that," he said,

"Next time you say something like that Miss Black, you'll get fired," he said as he turned around, signaling me to follow him, I rolled my eyes.

"You know Miss Black rolling your eyes at your new boss isn't very polite," 5

That caused me to roll my eyes again.

"I dare you to roll your eyes at me one for time," he said as we entered the elevator. 14

That's exactly what I did, I rolled my eyes at him again. I don't care who he is. I don't need him and I really don't give a fuck if I get fired. I'm 99% sure that, that's the new guy from the underground judging by his ego.

Suddenly, he turned around taking a step toward me, while I took a step back. This went on until my back hit the elevator wall and he was right in front of me. He put both of his hands on either side of me, trapping me in place.

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

"Don't bit your lip Anastasia, it shows that you are nervous,"

"I'm not nervous, I don't get nervous," I said. Rolling my eyes, he thinks he has figured me out already.

I heard a ding and the elevator opened and we walked into a hallway.

After walking to the end of the corridor, we went into the meeting room and got ready for the meeting. I arranged all the files together and got ready for the meeting.

Currently, it's 9:00 and everyone is in the Meeting room. I found out that this is an agreement between us and another big company.

"So, we have to have 75% of this deal and it is ours?" one of them asked.

"I will let my secretary talk, what do you think Miss Black," said the 'Boss' I would prefer calling him the dude who wins having the world's biggest ego but, I could tell he was challenging me and I wasn't one to back down.

"Well according to this, the contract says that 75% of the work is ours," I said to the other company.

"Yeah, but, that changed, we are going to do the 75 % of the work," they said laughing.

"and with what machines are you going to build the buildings with?" I asked knowing damn well what the reply will be.

"With the 'Grand' machines sweetheart. You know, not a great choice of a secretary, she doesn't know anything," they said facing ego boss.

"Let her finish," he said.

"Thanks, eg- I mean boss. Well, you guys have been using the same machines for the past 50 years now and our machines are brand new. It has been two years so, at this point we can make the buildings better. So, 75% of the deal is ours, now sign the contract, because, it's the only logical thing to do," I commanded.

Which they did, they knew not to argue. I stole a glance at the 'boss' saw him surprised, I smirked. As they left the room with defeated faces. I started organizing all the files. I felt him behind me, my back pressed against his chest.

"You did a great job, Anastasia," he whispered. I bit my lower lip.

"Didn't I tell you not to bite your lip, it gives off that you're nervous," he said in a commanding way.

"I'm not nervous and I don't get nervous, I told you that," I snapped at him.

"Oh princess, you can fool anyone in this world, except me,"

"Oh really, and why is that?!" I asked.

",because kitten, I've known you longer than you think I have."

"I'm pretty sure I'd remember you"

"Oh really?" he said.

"Positive"I said leaving the room.
