Amelia POV Lydia did not die immediately. The door was kicked open, and it was Amy who entered the warehouse. She froze at once; she was shocked at the sight in front of her. Chris was standing in the center, wounded men around him, crawling and asking him to spare them. He held a gun in his hand. Amy stepped back for a second cause she couldn't accept that situation. She got a flashback. A small girl, just like him, standing in the center of a warehouse. She had blonde hair and green eyes and held a gun in her hand. But the only difference was that she was standing on dead bodies.

Kade rasped, his voice cracking with raw panic. He grabbed the heavy duvet and pulled it back to cool her overheated body down. Amy let out a weak, painful whimper when the cool air hit her skin, but she lacked the strength to open her eyes. Her small hands curled into tight fists against the white sheets, and her entire body trembled from the massive infection attacking her system.

PARKER Ryder, Nadia, and I walk into the dungeon after saying thank you to the warriors outside and letting them leave. There are four more inside, and they are told the same, but they chose to stay. You should move her to a sterile hospital room." "No need," Aurora clenched her teeth and hung up. "Who can explain why Amy had a virus in her system?" Aurora looked at everyone.

It's better to die. I opened my eyes and looked at the eyes of my destroyer. He neared me and kissed on my shoulder. I cringed. I looked around to find something to either kill him or myself but couldn't find anything. Loud music was bursting outside. Even if we cried for help nobody would hear us. "Mmm. She tastes heaven. I bet she will be a perfect fuck of my life." He said trailing his finger down to my stomach. I stilled in his hold. "Mate, let's take a strong drink before. I need a high dose to get stamina and energy." Jack said, tying Amy's hands with ties. I cried looking at her condition. She was in so much pain, more than me.

I walked inside. She turned when she heard my footsteps and the smile widened. "Alpha Liam. I'm glad you're back, I've been waiting. I wanted to finalise the alliance terms with Ivy directly, just the two of us, woman to woman, clear the air properly—" "Guardsss." I said it without raising my voice or looking away from her face. Two men appeared from the corridor immediately. "I need fresh fuel," I said. "And a lighter." Amy's smile dropped so fast it was almost impressive. She took one step back. Then another. Her eyes went wide and she looked between me and the guards and whatever confidence had carried her through the front door of my home evaporated entirely.

Amy severed her mental connection and peered back down at her bloody hands, the metallic smell making her nauseous even though she usually loved the scent. She walked back inside and immediately saw the evidence of Jackson's death. His body and that of his brother were in bits and pieces. Low growls rumbled from the throats of several wolves who had shifted. Blood covered their muzzles.
