Hurriedly, I flipped the page of the book open, my eyes immediately roaming through it. "Vampires, origins of vampires, vampire-related terminologies-" I let out an exhale as I flipped through the pages again. There were so many unfamiliar terms and words and I could swear the only words that made sense to me were 'fangs', 'stakes', and a very few others. Well, there went my curiosity.

My cheeks grew hot as I read the name of one to be The King's captive. I pulled out that one from the shelf and went ahead to settle on a chair backed up against one of the shelves. I opened the book and started to read. I read and read, my eyes widening at each page depicting the savagery of the Lycans in bed. Along the line, I forgot where I was. Well, that was until I started hearing faint chiming noises. There was someone here with me.

In Split Seconds, I was at the city, still on my mask, when I saw a very beautiful girl, who should be about 19 years of age and my fangs immediately surfaced. Before the girl could bat an eyelid, i had taken hold of her and ran back to the Brambles. Thanks to my human speed. She tried calling for help, just like any pathetic human would do, but that was useless, because my fangs had already dug into her flesh sucking up her delicious blood with blood filled eyes. "Ouchh.!!!!!."She screamed as the pain hit her, but I just kept drinking and sucking her blood, at the same time draining life out of her.

She felt as if she were under the microscope of the world, and about to explode. Suddenly, Scarlet leaned back, overflowing with rage, and felt a new sensation in her teeth. She felt her two incisor teeth expand, felt long, sharp fangs growing, protruding from them. She hardly knew what the feeling was, but she knew she was changing, into something she could hardly recognize or control. She suddenly spotted a large, fat, drunk man, stumbling through the alley. Scarlet knew that she either had to feed, or to die herself. And something inside of her wanted to survive.

She stopped pleasuring herself with her fingers and grabbed his hips to try to force him into her as far as he could go. A low chuckle escaped his throat as he continued to suckle the blood from her other nipple; teasing its tip with his tongue as he did. She felt as if she was going to explode from the ecstasy of it. She needed a release. When her fangs dropped on their own, she pulled his face from her breast and sank them into his neck. He moaned with pleasure from the sensation. It was the final act to push his seed from him. She could feel it pouring inside of her in powerful waves while she drank his blood with a wild fervor that surprised him.

“I heard something.” The Alpha’s expression hardened. “What?” “I don’t know.” The answer frustrated her. Because she wasn’t lying. The voice had vanished almost instantly. Leaving behind only a strange feeling. Like moonlight. Like silver light. Like something watching her. Froz didn’t like it. Not one bit. That evening— The White Fang Palace library was unusually crowded. Ancient books covered an entire table. Scrolls. Maps. Records. Documents. Everything Froz had gathered during the last few days. Metro adjusted his glasses. The mountain of books concerned him.

It made her realize that the little days they were together made them know each other a little too deep and it made her question herself; What were they? She would have simply said they were friends, maybe good ones at that, but it didn’t look so. There is a limit to what a friend can do but his was beyond that. He did things for her without holding back and not minding if it was inconvenient for him. The day he went with her to the wedding and the night when he had saved her, he was her knight in shining fangs_ Fangs because he is a vampire.

She didn’t like getting involved with anyone and she wanted to be alone. But now I was here. I placed a small kiss on her neck, feeling her shudder. Delicious, her blood was delicious. I wanted to drink from her until I was satisfied. I wanted to take it all. A growl escaped me. I couldn’t take it all, not yet. I had to be patient and kind to her. As painful as it was for me. I put those thoughts behind when I bit her. My fangs grew rapidly, piercing her skin. Her blood flooded my mouth and a plaintive groan came from her throat.
