Another Day Novel Novels & Stories

POV Millie It’s Sunday night and I’m told I can leave in the morning. Nurses come in and out of the room every so often. Steph sits on a chair in the corner of the hospital room, she hasn’t left my side since she first came here other than to Uber to the house for Mia’s car and my phone, the store to grab us some things, oh and the book store to buy another book. She’s reading yet another dark romance novel. She insisted on reading me some chapters and although they make me question my morals and I won’t tell Steph this, I already ordered her recommended books on A****n.

Looking forward to it. I put my phone away and headed to my car. Wednesday. Coffee with Daemon. Monday. First shift at the bookstore. Two things to look forward to. Two reasons to get through the next few days. It wasn't much. But right now, it was enough.

~BELLUS POV~ The feeling of being alone and unwanted. Why am I living? What I am living for? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's been 2 days since I got discharged at the hospital and I am doing great, although the bickering and teasing with Pawell and Keith seems fun, it was kind of boring these days, plus the weather was still cold. It was almost my birthday and I can guess that it would turn out to be an ordinary day, maybe my parents would just send me some gifts like before.

Why stay helpless when you can choose to be powerful? Have a great day, everyone! See you all in the next book! UPDATE: BOOK TWO is now out as a completed novel - The Rogues Who Went Rogue.

She finishes the second book in September. Three and a half years from the six pages in the thirteenth notebook to the final chapter, which she writes in a single sitting on a Saturday morning when the twins are at Rosa's and Clara is at school and Ethan is at the Cole Partners office and the Gràcia apartment is, briefly, entirely hers. The book is called The Brief for the Second Life: How Real Things Move Between People.

It would only keep me close to a life that had already ended. London was gray and wet when I landed. The first evening, I sat on the edge of the bed with my coat still on, listening to rain tap against the window. For a moment, I missed home so badly I almost couldn't breathe. Then my phone lit up with an email from Caroline West. Welcome to London, Nora. Get some sleep. We start Monday. Caroline ran the London office of a crisis communications firm. Two years earlier, after we worked together on a difficult corporate case, she had offered me a position.

The next morning, I waited downstairs early. When Xavier walked over with Sandra, he was startled to see me. He quickly handed the coffee in his hand back to her. "Lily? What are you doing here? Why haven't you left for work?" I replied with a smile, "Don't you know my school is near your company? Or have you never thought about giving me a ride too?" Xavier opened his mouth but couldn’t find the words. Sandra's smiling face turned stiff. She spoke in a pretentious tone, "Is this your wife, Xavier? She's so beautiful—unlike me; I don't know how to dress up."

Eɴᴊᴏʏ ʀᴇᴀᴅɪɴɢ 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙤 𓆙 ꧁꧂ Sɪsᴛᴇʀ ɪɴ ʟᴀᴡ ꧁꧂ Today was a big day, in the Windsor's Dynasty Kingdom, the most powerful kingdom of all times.

Then, they turned their annoyed gazes on me. I wanted to explain, but cold sweat broke out across my back. A feeling of despair enveloped me, and the stabbing pain from my burns overwhelmed me again. I clenched my teeth tightly, unable to say a word. They didn't want to hear anything anyway. And so, Bianca took over my room. I moved into the maids' storage room, which was damp and freezing. It hadn't been cleaned in years. The pain from my wounds kept me awake all night.

Don sent the fourth book to the editor in the first week of December. The book's title was The Ordinary Morning. Don had held several titles across the writing and had arrived at this one in November, in the week before he read Ernest the last section. He had said: The Ordinary Morning. Ernest had said: yes. Both knew immediately.
