Novel & Cerita Anthology Melody Bedding

Perhaps he was simply unsurprised. Because perhaps he had planned on suggesting the same thing. It was the most logical outcome, after all. … Melody’s soft coos filled the air as I gently bounced her in my arms, pacing back and forth across the carpeted nursery floor. Quiet lullabies played on her little moon-and-stars mobile, a gentle purple glow cast on the crib from the low LEDs lining the walls.

JENSEN’S POV. One day later. I stared at the ceiling. Melody was curled into me as she belonged there, her naked body warm and soft against my side. One of her legs was thrown over mine, thigh draped possessively across my hips. The blanket had slipped down, barely covering her ass, and her head rested right over my heart, breathing slow and even. She fit perfectly. Too perfectly. My phone buzzed on the nightstand. Sara. I carefully untangled myself, pressing a light kiss to Melody’s temple before sliding out of bed. I placed the phone on her bedside table and slipped into the bathroom.

A comb Melody used to steal and hide in her hair just to make me chase her down the hallway, laughing and furious. I sit on the edge of my bed and open the wooden box under my mattress. Inside are Melody’s belongings, the ones Mom didn’t throw out in a “grief cleansing” fit. Her scarf, knitted in dark green. A small journal with medical notes, her handwriting tight, determined. A silver hair clip shaped like a crescent moon. I pick up the journal. The pages smell faintly like dried herbs. Melody always smelled like herbs. Like the healing hut. Like crushed leaves between fingers.

Melody hesitantly stepped through the door, not at all impressed as she mumbled quietly, "This better be the biggest room." Unamused, her brother quickly wished her goodnight and left. Silence settled in her room beside the soft sound of the rain easing outside. She sighed to herself and searched through the brown boxes for her warm pyjamas. "Finally..." She mumbled when she the articles of clothing. Melody slipped on the thick, flannelette clothes along with fluffy socks and a warm windcheater. A lonely howl suddenly called out in the moonless night, startling her. Inhaling sharply, she inched closer to her large bedroom window. She peered outside and realised that her room faced the rear o

The walls are painted black with white trim, while the floors are covered in a soft white carpet. A large black canopy bed is the centrepiece of the room, with white and black accent pillows and a cosy white throw blanket. Gold and silver accents add a touch of glamour, while a crystal chandelier adds a hint of sparkle. The room is finished off with a velvet armchair, an elegant vanity, and a modern black and white patterned rug white patterned. Reminding herself why she had come, Mellisa walked towards the bed where Maxwell lay sleeping. Gently shaking his arm, she softly said.

For ten years, I stood beside Adrian Shaw while he clawed his way up from nothing to a nine-figure fortune. In all that time, he never once took me anywhere that cost more than twenty dollars a head. On the eve of our tenth anniversary, I sent him a link to the steakhouse I'd been saving for years. His expression darkened. "Just because we have money now doesn't mean we can forget how hard life can get. Thrift is a virtue, Nora. Don't lose it." I thought he had a point, so I nodded and agreed to cancel the reservation. Then, on the day I went to the restaurant to cancel it, I saw Adrian across the dining room, having dinner with a girl. He cut her steak for her, then reached over and ge

Focusing on the furniture and objects that scattered the room, I first noticed the large bed that sat in the middle, against the back wall. While the bed in the museum's playroom was simple-looking, this one was much bigger and designed with more attention to detail. The four-poster bed had been adorned with baroque carvings that matched the lining of the crimson-colored velvet headboard. Embellished with the same shade of red, the mattress was covered in nothing but a flat velvet material. Opposite of the bed was a couch with the same fabric and carvings. Narrowing in on the canopy of the bed, there were restraints and hooks on every side, allowing me to imagine the hundreds of scenes one c

On the full moon, Kieran lay in the king-size bed and, out of habit, rolled toward the inside. Half-asleep, his arm reached automatically to his side — and found a soft, compliant body already there. Melody tucked herself closer. She wore lavender perfume, carefully chosen. But everything about it was wrong. He remembered how I slept like I was at war with the covers — unconsciously stealing them, burrowing against him with hands and feet like a wolf looking for warmth, still insisting half-asleep that "your temperature is just right."

what right do I even have to ask that question? I wheeled myself into the bedroom, dragging my body up from the chair onto the bed. My progress had stalled lately. Standing was as far as I could get—any further and my legs trembled like they'd forgotten they belonged to me. The door creaked open and Melody walked in, a soft rustle of silk following her. She glided across the room like she owned it—and honestly, she probably did now. The nightgown she wore wasn't fancy, but somehow she made it look like luxury.

Melanie drops her phone on the bed as Mr Gordon enters her room. “I just contact the lady now, and she will be here anytime soon.” She informs him without looking his way. “Alright,” he yawns and plunges onto the bed. “What is that?” He asks, pointing at the stuff on her bed. “Oh,” Melanie smile and pack the stuff together so he could sleep properly. “It’s just flower studs that I'm making for the kids.” She grins and Mr Gordon just nods and closes his eyes to sleep.
