Anxious People Book Novels & Stories

Alessia Romero ---- Ansia I sat on the edge of a bed in the dormitory as I silently plotted a way I would save someone. In my sweaty hands, I held the poisonous capsules. Anxiety was consuming me up every second that ticked. It was the third day and towards the lunch hour. The same day when Carina was signing her new novel with her fans. I could feel fear deep down my heart.

"Elena said that having the right information can reduce anxiety. I'm just making sure you don't read strange things on the internet that will only stress you out." Aixa looked at the five books once more. Their covers were still smooth, carrying the distinctive scent of freshly printed pages. She gently touched the edges of the books, feeling the concern hidden neatly beneath her husband's rigid demeanor. The man who usually touched nothing but business reports, legal documents, and financial newspapers had deliberately taken the time to find guides on caring for a pregnant woman. Aixa looked at Fernando again. A warmth slowly filled her chest, spreading through her body and driving away th

He really was so right! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Lovely readers, I am really anxious and nervous about the level of turn-up and support I’ll receive after I take this huge step but I believe you all will support me and make a purchase of my not perfect book.

“Disruption is tempting, but consider consequences. Missteps now will create loss, instability, and ruin for those who act in haste.” The murmurs slowed, uncertainty flickering across the faces of the more aggressive factions. Olivia could feel the subtle shift in energy—their influence bending the currents of unrest, reshaping the narrative without confrontation. ⸻ But the city would not be calmed so easily. Outside, the sound of pounding drums echoed—an organized group of agitators, masked and moving with purpose. They surged through the streets, calling for rebellion, demanding control over trade, influence, and alliances. Chaos was no longer a whisper—it was a storm on the horizon.

We all reached our destination and took our sits I sat beside Ananya and some author came and gave a inspirational speech and truth to be spoken it's freaking bored. Once his speech was done we went towards the displayed books and i saw Ananya was very happy seeing all the books. She was enjoying this a lot, i made sure that i was walking beside and keeping my eye on her because this is a crowded area and anyone can easily get lost. Suddenly we all heard a commotion and i saw few protestants getting inside the place by breaking the security system and creating nuisances. I saw they carried guns and i was very scared not for my life but for Ananya.

It wasn't dark but the place is fucking creepy and I know that Anny was feeling anxious, I can feel it, she jumps at any slightest sound and each time, I blame myself for being too obstinate about getting the books. "Oh, that, actually I want to create some business strategies that the company would use and solve the current crises they said they're facing, I already have so many ideas and the books we got from the library would definitely help me in my planning." She explained and hearing the excitement in her voice made me admire her because she is just like me. "Excited about the program right?" I asked and she nodded her head in affirmation. "Nice, I'm excited too, the job offer would go

Below-Prayer had become the Docket of Unanswered Prayers. The living were not fuel. The dead had standing. The gods had audit dates. Book One of my life, if lives had books, should have ended there. The immediate problem was a dead contract written in loving language. The worse problem was that the refugees were listening. Nobody had the luxury of naming the threat neatly. People argued in fragments, moved furniture, counted children, checked wounds, and made ugly little bargains with their own courage. My power worked best when I slowed down enough to ask who benefited from panic. Ava's worked best when she refused to let panic become policy.

The book would only bring it back into sharper focus. I took a slow breath. “Some people were scared of what they didn’t understand. Two men loving each other and playing hockey made them angry. Bad people lied about us and tried to hurt us. But a lot of good people stood up for us too. That’s why we wrote the book—so people can know the real story.” “Are you scared the mean people will come back when the book comes out?” she asked. Callan answered first. “A little. But we’re stronger now. We have each other. We have you two. And we have a lot of people who love us.”

The room seemed to close in on her, amplifying her worry and frustration. Tears welled up in Hailee's eyes as she sank to the floor, overwhelmed by a sense of impending doom. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something was terribly wrong, and the missing book only heightened her anxieties. Hailee's worries grew with each passing moment, leaving her with a profound sense of unease that gnawed at her very core.

The longer she sat here frozen the more assured these people would be that the book was what they thought it was. Aspen should have burned it. That was the safest thing to do. Move, damn it. "Uh, what?" Aspen whirled around and shoved the roll top down. Maybe she could convince them it was something else? "That? Oh, no. It's a cookbook. We should get on to your schedule." Who were these people? She hadn't seen them in the database, but they could know someone. They could be connected. "I read Nabanita's book," the woman chimed in.
