It was obviously from the fact that she had cried last night and still ended up dozing off on the couch without any form of real body coverage. Standing up, she headed for the bathroom, about to start her morning routine when she glanced in the mirror and grimaced. Her appearance looked beyond awful. Ariadne was a female of top class beauty. With brown lush hair that always hung up in a ponytail, doll like Gray eye, a pair of perfectly thinned pink lips and skin tanned to perfection; the female was sort after by many males, even till date. However, it was a wonder how her beauty never seemed to work on Lucien. The male always remained cold to her no matter what.

They both walked away. Towards another large fountain. Moving her hand, Mother Goddess made a swirl. The clear water glimmer like it had sparkles suddenly change into a crimson red. Dabbing it. She turns to Allorah. A smile played on her lips.

Then came the sound of heels clicking against the floor. Looking up toward the staircase, everyone saw a woman in a striking red body hug gown descending. Emily Havard was beautiful, no doubt about it. She moved with confidence, a practiced catwalk that turned heads. But she wasn’t Alexander’s type. Even he didn’t fully know what his type was. He felt nothing as she approached the table. She reminded him of all the women from his past, manipulative, wearing fake smiles, proud, and easy to see through. Yet something else entirely caught Alexander’s sharp attention.

It was as if she had simply vanished into thin air. The drain on his power left him pale as a shroud, his golden eyes shot through with blood-red veins. Looking at this disheveled, snarling woman, spewing venom and hate, Apollo saw for the first time how truly selfish, greedy, and ugly she was. The "innocent, fragile" girl who needed his protection had never existed.

Eva answered. "Oh! I'm sorry! I was just curious." The girl bowed a little while apologizing, but Eva could clearly see that the girl was insecure about her looks. "It's okay, but you know what? You are beautiful just the way you are. You don't need to meet the beauty standards which people have created nowadays. You look beautiful." The girl's eyes sparkled hearing those words. She thought that maybe, like all spoiled brats, Eva would too insult her or treat her rudely, but no, she didn't. That's when the girl realized that not everyone was the same. Respect filled her eyes for Eva.

It took me a long time to forget what Mrs Souza did to me that night. My life improved when I moved to the capital. In Utopia, things become even clearer. I came to a utopian to enter university.
