Aries Jones Novels & Stories

~Arya~ “Miss Manchester, did you and the victim have a fight on the rooftop? What was the cause? Did she say things to get under your skin? Was there a scuffle, a bi arument that made you lose your mind for even a second?” My gaze dropped to the detective’s badge. Jones. He must be a really big fan of Cassie. It was either that, or he was just being an extremist. He seemed eager to get me incriminated for the crime I didn't commit.

' 'Do you think he came to threaten me today, like an ordinary group president? The assistant suddenly froze, and he didn't know how to answer. 'So you mean this man has other identities?' 'I don't know yet, but I think it's far from as simple as it seems. Please find someone to check it again.' The assistant bowed his head and took orders, hiding in the dark. …… Jones Davis is standing at the door of the James family again. She reached out to knock at the door, but found that she couldn't pull her face down at all.

Chapter Nine Quinn “You have got to be kidding me.” I blink. Once. Twice. Archer Jones is still there. He’s staring back at me, and good Lord, that man looks fine as hell in that navy blue suit. His dark hair is a little messy, and the scruff on his face enhances the strong, masculine features. I’m instantly turned on. And equally annoyed. What the hell is he doing here? “Quinn? Is everything all right?” Jacob follows my line of sight out the glass door. “What’s wrong?”

Senator Jones’ POV The soft hum of jazz floats through my study as I pour myself a glass of whiskey. It’s late, but I’ve never been much of a sleeper. Too many things always need watching, controlling. Especially now. My phone vibrates against the oak desk. I see the caller ID and smile faintly before answering. “Boss,” I say smoothly, settling into the leather armchair. “Jones,” he replies, his voice sharp and cold as ever. “How’s Flora coping at the company? Is she giving you trouble?”

she said, containing her excitement and the butterflies that fluttered in her stomach. "Jones Jackson," he stated, his eyes maintaining the stare in hers. "Jones Jackson..." She repeated trying to remember, then it hit her. "Jones Jackson from The raid role!?" "Yes, that Jones Jackson. We manage him and he requires a personal assistant. It's okay to decline if it isn't what you want," he added. "Was he the one...?" Her voice trailed off. "Yes, he is the one that made frightened Higgins run around but he isn't as bad as you think. He's just picky and sophisticated like every other artist out there."

He was not that close to Alberto, he just did him a favor. She was checking her work email when the door creaked. She dropped the phone and turned to look at the door. Jones came in with a gun pointed at her. Jones was a buff man, he had big muscles, broad shoulders and was about five feet eight inches tall. His short black hair was gelled back and he had a briefcase in his left hand. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" He asked as he dropped his briefcase on the ground while carefully watching her.

I asked, ignoring his greetings. “Boss, Mr Jones is quite corny and extremely careful in his doings, but he has been meeting up with a particular person a lot,” he said. “Who’s this person?” I asked. “I don’t know because the person is always in disguise when they meet up,” he said. “You’ll have to find out who Jones is working with, did you find anything else?” I asked. “The Raven are planning to buy the shares on the 14th of this month sir,” he said.

“Ms. Reynolds is my uncle’s assistant. What’s wrong with that?” “It’s nothing.” Maisie’s gaze did not even waver. “I heard that she’s Strix’s apprentice, and I was intrigued by that. I wonder if I can get a chance to get to know her.” “We’ll see.” Jones took a glimpse at his watch and said again, “I still have another appointment to attend to, so I’ll take my leave first.” Maisie nodded. Maisie’s expression turned slightly solemn as Jones walked toward the elevator. ‘He seems to have avoided the topic on purpose. Does he not want to talk more about Sue, or does he know about something that’s going on?’

Although Robert was polite, he said, "My fiancee also has the same opinion on your wife's coat." Send a driver to take Jones back to Gand. Jones was slightly startled and said nothing more, just glanced at Sara and Aron Deny before getting into the car, and still said to Robert: "It's still the young marshal who treats people well, unlike this adjutant and this young lady. They really seem to have come prepared and deliberately ambush to catch me." Although it sounds like a joke, Jones said that he was born into a famous family in this era, so what is it? Dare to say anything.

I felt exasperated and hopeless. "It is quite a good move to cut it, Since males will swarm on you non-stop if they know that you are a female," Aja said while smiling at me kindly. "It is. Truthfully. By the way. We initially wanted to seek information about the Immortals. Specifically, the god named Sephtis and the twin goddesses named Ayla and Arie. Do you happen to know who they are?" Lowell asked politely while getting straight to the point.
