As Cold As Ice Novels & Stories

It's really like in Antarctica with minus temperatures. In front of it, Cia was lying on a stone table. Under the table are dozens of ice cubes that will never melt. Noya gives the ice energy so it can last a long time. Then, Zeno walked quickly holding his wife's fingers which were cold like ice cubes. The warm air brought by Zeno was defeated by the cold air which was indeed more dominating. The man smiled, looking at the pale face that still looks beautiful with blue lips. Zeno smoothed Cia's hair, strangely his wife's body was not the slightest bit affected by the ice cubes. Only his body temperature was cold.

Luke Cold. It settles into my bones like it belongs there. Like it’s always belonged there. My fingers ache before I can feel them. I try to move them and they respond slowly, stiff, unreliable. The air burns when I breathe in. My teeth knock together once. I clamp my jaw shut to stop it. Don’t shake. I pull my arms closer to my body but it doesn’t help. Nothing helps when the cold is inside you instead of around you. There’s a weight at my back, solid and unmoving. Brick maybe concrete. Something that doesn’t care if I’m there.

And at this moment, somewhere inside the Aqua Altar, only a naturally formed turquoise pool, the pool is not big, but the surrounding area is filled with a layer of cold smoke, there is no grass growing in the vicinity, and there is only a layer and a layer of cold ice that has condensed. The name of this pool is called "blue water cold pool", the pool water never freezes, but it is colder than ice more than ten times colder than the mortal slow to say to touch the pool water, that is, in the hot summer slightly close to the edge of the pool, but also must be instantly frozen into cold ice and death.

He had experienced something comparable to this before. Something then slipped into his mind… Rime. "Shit! That sly bastard placed a rime spell on this building." Forsyth growled. "R-rime spell?" "It's a spell that makes everything cold and icy. Even clothes." He explained. "T-then, will I be- become icy as well?" The chill appeared to be intensifying by the second. Even the shirt on her wasn't helping. After a few seconds, Forsyth responded with reluctance. "Yes. T-The spell works on the flesh mostly."

Each moment that passed only intensified the biting cold, causing Isabel to tremble violently. As time dragged on, the frigid temperature became increasingly unbearable, gnawing at Isabel's resolve. She pounded on the door once more in a desperate attempt to escape her icy prison, but it remained steadfastly shut, indifferent to her cries for help. Isabel retreated to a corner of the balcony, wrapping her arms tightly around herself in a feeble attempt to ward off the cold. But the thin fabric of her clothes offered little protection against the merciless chill, leaving her feeling utterly defenseless.

Even now, standing alone in the dark, the memory made my face flush bright red. I brought the collar slightly closer to my face, and even with the dried coffee, that intoxicating scent of luxury, a fresh cedarwood, expensive cologne, and crisp winter air that lingered faintly on the threads. It was a smell that belonged to someone who ruled the world, completely different from a nobody like me. But the brief rush of heat in my chest was instantly crushed by a cold wave of pure terror.

"Since when does Lucien Vale change anything?" I managed a small smile. "People change." Silence followed. Heavier than questions. *** The ice rink was colder than I remembered. Sharp sounds of skates on ice echoed around me. I took a careful step forward. The moment my blade made contact, my balance wobbled. Wrong. My body did not respond how it should. I almost slipped. Nearby players chuckled quietly. "Lucien is off today," someone said. I straightened and steadied myself. The coach blew the whistle. "Vale. Move."

He whirled and rapidly came towards me. Cold air blew up and kissed my cheeks and bare skin. The cold was deadly and my body started trembling. I'm gonna die in this cold if I stayed here for a longer time. Still, I managed to walk further. The cold wind hit me and I felt like someone was tearing me apart with an ice sword. New York is chill and every roof is covered with snow like the earth and roofs are wrapped in the blanket of snow.

*** Hyacinth *** The snow was falling steadily, each flake drifting through the air with a quiet grace before settling on the ground. The cold wrapped itself around me, sharper than I’d ever felt before, biting at my skin, seeping into my bones. Every breath felt like ice in my lungs, the chill so deep it seemed to crawl beneath my clothes, making my muscles stiff and unresponsive. This wasn’t just cold; it was a sharp, unforgiving kind of cold that seemed to gnaw at everything it touched.

Primo explained. “Can I come up? It’s rather cold out here.” He asked and rubbed his arms for emphasis. What a weak little bitch if he thinks this is cold. This is nice weather. Cold is when it’s -40℉, and even that, I wouldn’t bitch about it being cold. If he wanted cold, he could know the cold of death when I ripped him to pieces. With a growl, Gunnar and I rushed out and tackled the jackass who dared ask to be invited into our mate’s room.
