Alpha’s Claimed Mate.

Alpha’s Claimed Mate.

She didn’t understand all of it—but she knew this wasn’t just war. This was betrayal. Revolution. And love—bleeding at the center of it all. In the heart of the storm, Asher fought like a force of nature—wounded but unyielding. He took down three of Aiden’s lieutenants with bone-cracking precision, blood staining the marble beneath him. But it was not enough. He was surrounded. And just as Julian stepped forward to strike, a howl rang through the mountain—raw, broken, familiar. Akira.

SCARLET VENGEANCE

SCARLET VENGEANCE

my words were like a dagger coated in bitterness, “Perfectly made from hell!“ my voice heavy with the agony of betrayal. Leaving the room, I walked away from the echoes of deception, my final words lingering in the air like an unspoken truth. The corridor outside embraced me in its quiet solitude, providing a refuge from the emotional storm that raged within. *** Alone in the confined space of my car, the weight of betrayal settled upon my shoulders. Tears, held back for what felt like an eternity, finally broke free, demanding acknowledgment. My hands trembled on the steering wheel, knuckles strained against the grip, unable to contain the flood of emotions overwhelming me.

Ashes of Betrayal

Ashes of Betrayal

The thick smoke engulfed me, and my breathing became labored. The inhaler in my hand was nearly empty. I took one last deep breath and closed my eyes in despair. A wave of bitterness washed over me. I should not have started this ill-fated relationship.

She, His Enigma

She, His Enigma

She couldn't shake the feeling that trouble was brewing Ellaya closed the door behind her, the soft click echoing like a gunshot in the silence. She sank against the wooden barrier, her body trembling as silent sobs wrenched from her chest. The weight of his betrayal crashed down on her—his deceit wrapped around her like a suffocating shroud. Every sweet word he whispered now twisted into venomous lies, clawing at her heart.

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

The mention of burning their enemies to ash should have sparked her usual dark delight, but instead it was his unwavering belief in their future together that truly resonated. She felt the hard length of him pressing insistently against the thin fabric separating them, a physical manifestation of his passion and determination. A shiver ran down her spine that had nothing to do with the unnatural cold of the ruined watchtower. “You believe in us,” she repeated softly, testing the words on her tongue. It was not a question but an affirmation– an acknowledgement that despite everything they had endured, he still saw something worth fighting for between them. Her hands slid from his shoulders do

Damn! My Mate Is My Biggest Enemy's Twin Brother

Damn! My Mate Is My Biggest Enemy's Twin Brother

HAVEN There's nothing as bitter as the taste of betrayal. My shoes slap against the tarmac as I try to get as far away from Aamon as possible. Tears continue cascading down my cheeks but I don't bother wiping them. My vision is blurry and my chest and eyes burn. Burning from the cracks of pain slicing through me.

Fate’s Second Chance: Married to my Ex's Boss

Fate’s Second Chance: Married to my Ex's Boss

The reminder of my past, of the mistake I had made—the betrayal that had shattered me. “Did my father tell you that?” I asked, forcing my voice to remain steady. Asher shrugged, tucking his hands into his pockets. “People talk.” People talk. Of course, they did. I clenched my fists, fighting the wave of emotions rising inside me. Once, I had thrown everything away for Jarem. I had believed in his love, trusted his words. And where had it led me? To death. To betrayal. To this moment—standing before Asher Cole, caught between my past and my future.

The Price of Betrayal

The Price of Betrayal

“We have to go. Now!” But Vic didn't move. His eyes were glued to the credit card lying on the floor - it had fallen out of Alexandra's hand in the chaos. With a quick movement, he picked it up. “Do you trust me?” Stefan took her hand. Vic stared at the man he thought had betrayed him just hours ago. The man who had fallen in love with him in the midst of his revenge plan. “I don't have any other choice, do I?” Stefan smiled - the smile that always made him fall in love. “We always have a choice, schatje. But now, we have to make the right choice.”

The Mark of Betrayal

The Mark of Betrayal

Roman ‘We need to shower, then we have to talk to the pups. What’s the situation with the warriors here?’ I ask my father in the mind link. ‘There was resistance, but everyone heard what Gillian said. No one can deny that Althea betrayed her wolf, her family, and her pack.’ As I hold my crying mate, I look around the pack. She’s not the only one crying. However, I think most of these people are crying because of the betrayal that they just heard about, not because their Alpha and Luna are dead.

Gonna give this a try solely bc of the comments lol! I find myself now viewing an authors other completed work to see how many chapters bc now a days REALLY GOOD stories go bad bc they are boringly or badly drawn out and are now simply just money guzzlers.
