An Assassin For The Billionairess

An Assassin For The Billionairess

In the private room with her, I could see her whole body trembling when I touched her like she hadn’t been touched in years. Just as she was about to press the drink to her lips, my handler, Silas, spoke to me through my AirPods to pause the mission I immediately took the glass from her and poured the contents over my chest, and she thought it was part of the act, not knowing she almost drank herself to her own death. Just in case Silas needed me to complete the job subsequently, I left a card with my number on it and with how harsh her breathing was and the desire in her eyes, I doubted it would go unused

The Billionaire who bought my curse

The Billionaire who bought my curse

The assassin from the library stepped forward—hood lowered, silver-blue eyes gleaming. She bowed her head slightly to Lyra. “Forgive the dramatics, cousin. We needed the bond complete before he knew the truth.” Lyra’s voice came out cold. “What truth?” Adrian smiled wider. “That Cassian was never the one fated to die under the blood moon.” The wind howled through the chamber. Cassian’s face drained of color. Adrian pointed at Lyra. “She is.” For one terrible second, the world stopped. Then Lyra’s new crescent mark burned like fire.

Marked by Moonlight: A Rejected Mate's Redemption

With a swift spin of her staff, she channeled her inner strength and unleashed a wave of searing light that pierced through the shrouded mist. The assassin recoiled, his form momentarily destabilized. Sensing an opportunity, Styria pressed her advantage, her blades striking with deadly precision. She danced with calculated grace, weaving between his defenses and delivering punishing blows. "You think you can extinguish our flames?" Styria taunted, her voice cutting through the chaos. "We are the sparks that ignite the fire of justice!" Meanwhile, Rey and Luna continued their seamless collaboration, their movements harmonized like a well-practiced symphony. Rey conjured swirling cyclones, man

The Assassin

The Assassin

I thought I could handle this on my own, thought I could bring Zephyr back without assistance because I’m her mate, but it's not enough. “Did you see the person? Did you see the assassin?” Avani snarls. I look at him, knowing this will hurt him nearly as much as it hurts me. “It’s Zephyr, Avani. She’s the assassin.” He falls back on his butt. “What? Are you sure?” he asks. I raise an eyebrow at him. “Why would she do this? Why would she kill these shifters?” Cedric asks. “They got to her,” Avani says as realization dawns on him and he looks at me. He and I have worked together long enough. We understand each other without words.

I had put off reading this for a bit after the 2nd book. Zeph wasn't very developed and knowing she was starting on a dark side wasnt that enticing but DAMM i blew through this after giving her a chance. the plot and characters and world just draw you in!

Delivery of Fate

Delivery of Fate

She looked up to him and would have bitten his hand in retaliation if she weren’t so sour from their ordeal. Hearing the Second Prince, the assassin, knew that the rumors were false and she was not a Spirit Sprite and could dispose of her along with the Second Prince. Swiftly leaving the position he was hiding in, he softly glided down and performed a single-strike kill. To his astonishment, the Second Prince smirked, and a sword came into his hands and stopped the dagger from penetrating his neck.

Fated To The Sigma Assassin

Fated To The Sigma Assassin

For a moment, hope blossomed in my heart. "That's your name, right?" Squeezing my eyes shut, I swallowed hard. The hope that had sprung in my heart had just withered. The next group of words that he uttered sent a spark of fury rushing through my very being. "Give up." "What?" I snapped, turning to look at him. He let out a shaky breath and winced. "I'm no longer the Keegan you used to know. I am an assassin. I don't care about whatever feelings you have for me. You are lucky to have survived. I don't make mistakes. I simply kill."

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

"If he breathes, he dies." The figure didn't move. "Jack Sterling. Value: High. Threat: Moderate. Probability of survival: Zero." The assassin vanished. Active camouflage. He was gone instantly, blending perfectly with the gray rain and the white walls. "Back to back!" Jack ordered. They stood in the rain, weapons drawn, aiming at nothing. Jack strained his ears. The rain was his enemy now. It masked the assassin's footsteps. Swoosh. A displacement of air to the right. Jack swung his sword, a horizontal slash intended to decapitate.

A Pet for the Mafia Dons

A Pet for the Mafia Dons

Of average height, but lean, and handsome, with his blonde hair falling across his forehead. But his eyes. They were dead eyes. Grey blue. Hard. Piers flicked a cigarette aside, exhaled smoke. “You’re not taking her. Not tonight.” The lead assassin didn’t speak. He just moved fast. The alley erupted into violence. Muzzle flashes lit up the dusk. The assassins were precise, surgical — trained killers. One of the Don’s men dropped, a crimson arc spraying across the wall behind him. Another took a round to the thigh but didn’t fall — he lunged with a switchblade, slashing at one assassin’s neck, narrowly missing.
