He was getting himself a drink too before he stares at me and pulled a thumb’s up. “Nice costume!” I screamed over the loud music and he gestured a bow to show thanks, I think.

All she could hear was the thumping of her heart in her chest. Lord Moses motioned to one of his men, who stepped forward and removed the bag from her head. As her hair fell thickly over her face and shoulders and they saw her face, gasps rang out throughout the room. She shook her head, trying to clear her vision. Looking around, she noticed a group of men and women dressed in costumes similar to the three who had kidnapped her. Her soft brown hair fell neatly down her back, a small flower clip restraining a few unruly strands. The pink, lace-trimmed uniform draped gently over her beautiful body. Her eyes moved between the board and her classmates with a piercing intensity.

His very favorite character from his very favorite video game, with very removable clothing, matching lingerie, and a willingness to role-play any way he wanted. It's just me and the hooded guy left here in the classroom. I intentionally decided to be left here alone to lure him. I took a heavy breath and approached him. "So, why did you murder our classmate?" I asked. "I don't know what you're talking about." He replied flatly. "It was a dumb act of you to disguise yourself as the student council secretary."

Remy: “Remind me never to piss you off again.” Kayo is openly crying sparkles. Rowan’s coffee mug is cracked again. I step forward and flick the loose crimson streak that’s now glowing like molten ruby. Celeste (grinning through tears): “Space buns and shogun armor.
