The last message was still the one he sent that morning about how he was going to get her sandwiches. Gayle didn't reply. He tapped on his phone and sent the photo of the aurora. I nudged her hand with my head. “Well, hello there handsome. It appears as if our uninvited friends have decided to turn tail and run.” Aerain drawled. I looked over at Fredrik as he started to sway on his legs. I went to step away when I felt Aerian's hands grab my fur. I winced as she tugged a little harder than was needed. I looked back to see her sway on her feet as her eyes rolled back in her head. I shifted quickly catching her before she hit the ground.
