Several people moved around the property, and something about the scene made me dismount and approach more carefully. I worked my way through the trees until I had a clear view of the house's front yard. That's when I saw her. Aurora stood near the front door, wearing simple clothes. Her blonde hair caught the sunlight, and she looked healthy, unharmed. Alive. But she wasn't alone. A man stood beside her, tall and dark-haired, and as I watched in growing disbelief, I saw their hands intertwined. Aurora was holding hands with another man, looking at him with an expression I recognized because she'd once looked at me the same way.

I pulled the phone out and like Alex said, it was magic man, Jace. A hot flash of nerves ran down my spine. What if he changed his mind? What if he regretted it? What if this didn’t go well at all? I forced out a slow breath and answered. “Hello?” “Aurora.” His voice was steady, assured — not even a hint of hesitation. “I’m here.” My shoulders loosened a fraction. “You are?” “Yes. I just parked. Where are you guys?" I glanced around. “Near the west side lot. Close to the big wooden climbing frame—the one shaped like a ship.”

The car rolled into a circular driveway surrounded by sculpted gardens and softly illuminated fountains. Uniformed staff appeared almost immediately. They moved with calm precision, opening doors and stepping aside respectfully as the vehicle came to a stop. Aurora looked at Adrian. “Whose house is this?” “It belongs to a group of friends.” Aurora raised an eyebrow. “Your friends must be extremely wealthy.” Adrian smiled faintly. “They manage.” The door opened. Cool hilltop air brushed against Aurora’s face as she stepped out. From this height the entire city stretched across the horizon like a sea of shimmering lights.

Whoever this girl was must be someone with a terrible reputation. *Her name.* *It's Aurora. Aurora Macafee.* I see; Blake's reaction to her name makes more sense now. Every wolf has been taught to hate the name Macafee from a young age. The beautiful woman standing outside the packhouse demanding to see me was the daughter of my father's supposed to mate and former best friend—the daughter of the pack traitors; the she-wolf who desired to meet with me and request that her pack link be terminated. Soon the door was opened for them and both women walked out, upon arriving to the old rustic barn Aurora’s eyes widened at the exterior of the place. The old rustic barn look had been simply for decoration because the glass doors, gold handles and the doorman dressed in formal cloths. “Good afternoon madam” the door man greeted, to Aurora’s surprise, her mother in-law walked in without acknowledging the door man.

Aurora carefully got up and walked towards the toilet not far from the bedroom. Unexpectedly, there was a rustling sound nearby. Aurora immediately raised her guard, walking lightly and on tiptoe. She hid behind a grove of trees and watched. A man and a woman are talking to each other. Aurora recognized the man. His name is James, the only white teacher in this backward mountain Kenya. Who the woman is, Aurora doesn't know because she has her back to Aurora. But Aurora had observed the mark on the woman's shirt. It's the sun symbol. She is an employee of Sunshine company.

Aurora couldn't say anything because the boys were all over her and were happy that their dad joined them in hugging their 'mum' not knowing that daddy was catching some lustful moment behind her. Aurora became sexually aroused from the hard d*ck that systematically humped her so she had to distract the man behind her so he could leave her butty in peace. I don’t know this man, but he seems to know me intimately. He takes a deep breath, trying to contain his emotions. “You got into an accident, Aurora. You hit your head, and you’ve been in a coma for six months.” He hesitates, his eyes searching mine for any sign of recognition. “Do you remember anything, Aurora? Anything at all?” I fall silent. Truthfully, I remember everything from my life - Adrian, Courtney, my job, being the Omega of my pack - nothing is lost on me. But this man keeps calling me Aurora, which is very confusing.
