I felt my throat tightened at that "Yes, thats the best thing to do" I couldn't believe Dad was this heart less,

He thundered, I felt his words threatening my body system. "If you don't answer me I will kill you right here, right now." He threatened, everybody looked at him in shock. "Yes I am." I quickly said in order to avoid his huge punishment. "How dare you bring a bastard child in to my house and who gave you the authority to sleep around with men?, Huh." Mom asked with tears rolling down her cheek. "My unborn child has a father." I fired with no remorse they looked at me closely. "I want to see the father of this thing". Mom shouted pointing at my tommy.

She placed a hand over her expanding middle section and silently let the tears fall. Why was her poor baby subject to all these? First it had been at the risk of abortion, then she'd only just found out it's father could be anybody and nobody, and worst of all, he could have a genetic disease that could affect it. She hoped with all of her being the anonymous guy was clean. It would break her if she found out he was also a carrier of the Triple A Syndrome. Her baby would be doomed.

It was either that or gossiping about their married kids. “He’s so handsome, tell her Tony.” “I don’t like him.” I laughed at my dad’s comment. He didn’t like any men as soon as they were interested in me. “Tony, stop it. Come on, tell her!” My mom turned to look at me so earnestly I had to look serious. “Patricia said he works in oil and gas…” she pursed her lips to contain her excitement. “That means he’s loaded, Sierra.” “Seriously, mom?”

“I asked you to stop staring, and will you please give me my baby.” Huh…. Rude much? “Your baby?” I confirm. He is this baby’s father. That is a shame. Mr. Hot Stuff is already married. “Yes, my baby,” he repeats slowly this time. I resist the urge to laugh at him. He must think that I am stupid. “Oh, I am sorry, I just….” He interrupts me. “Don’t bother. Just let me have my baby. I don’t have time for all this.” He rakes his hand through his dark hair.

--- Baby A came first. A girl. Tiny. Screaming. "She's beautiful," Dr. Ellis said. Alexander cut the cord. Tears streamed down his face. "Hi," he whispered to her. "I'm your dad." She screamed louder. He laughed. I cried. --- Baby B came two minutes later. A boy. Smaller than his sister. Quieter. Too quiet. "Why isn't he crying?" I asked. Dr. Ellis's face tightened. "He's breathing. Just... weakly."

Father asks, closing the door behind him, and he says Eva has given birth to a son, shocking us. "What?" My mother asks, while my father and I look at him shocked as I try to process what he just said. He says he had a lot of missed calls from Tory, and when he called back, she was freaking out. She had been trying to get a hold of us. He says Eva gave birth to a boy this morning, and she fell unconscious right after giving birth.

Emma's POV "Guys, we need to talk," I said, sitting down with my triplets, Lucien, Rosaline, and Camilla. "What's up, Mum?" Lucien asked, looking curious. "It's about your father," I said, taking a deep breath. Rosaline's eyes widened. "We have a father?" I nodded. "Yes, you do. His name is Gabe, and he's a good man." Camilla's face lit up. "Tell us more!"

“I know what we agreed on. But shit happens.” “Never fuck a woman without a condom.” He held up a finger. “Rule number one.” I never should have broken that rule. “It is what it is, Bates.” “The baby is like a week old?” he asked. “Does that really count?” “Enough, Bates.” “Come on, think about it.” He pulled his legs off the table and sat up, his elbows resting on the surface. “You have the baby, kill her, and then what?
