Them and the two other Lycan Kings. Have you ever wondered why they’re called Kings?” Another frown lines my face and I shake my head. “I haven’t if I’m being honest. Isn’t it because they rule over territories?”

Kings have powers that ordinary humans do not have, who can deny that they are the ones most worthy of leading civilization? Although Lithonia and Evangelia seemed fine, it was seen from the two kings and queens who shook each other and threw greetings. However, it is different from the eternal enemy of the kingdom formed in the name of this god, the kingdom that was built from the betrayal of their ancestors that made Lithonia a cruel and brutal battlefield.

Dad went still suddenly as though listening to something that I couldn't hear before smiling at me ruefully. "I think our food is ready, let me check it out.". Then he was out of the room almost as quickly as he had entered. He never let me help out despite my attempts to do so. Shaking my head at his indulgence, I moved to another library stack only to catch sight of a book that brought me to a pause. My hands shook as I picked up the book. It was titled The History of Kings. It was a compilation of information about the Alpha Kings including my father who had reigned.

We are surrounded. In each path a different species and their rulers appear. Fae Queen, Goblin King, Dwarf King, Human King (who knows of the supernatural) Witch Queen and King and so on. "Ha, an ambush. What? If I don't allow you to knock me up, you'll force my hand?" The Witch king steps forward "No, you'll come with me" I look the hippy/surfer cross, up and down. That is no Nazgul "Beg your pardon?" The look on his queens face tells me she'd also like to know. One by one they all declare a claim on me.

"That's easy to say." "It's true regardless of how easy it is to say." He stands, and for the first time since he walked in, he looks less like a King delivering a verdict. "All my years as the Alpha King of this kingdom, I've spent making sure nothing mattered enough to be used against me. You are the first thing in all that time I haven't been able to control, predict, or explain. That bothers me more than anything does."

"All kings are fire manipulators." I nod, not really understanding. "How long have you been able to do, that?." "Manipulating fire?." He asks the blue ball of fire once again floating on his palm. "Since I was born, Thank Goddess." "Why?." "Well because, what makes a king of Alphas, is this." He turns the fire from blue to flaming red and to blue again. I frown, having no recollection of dad ever telling us about fire bending alphas. "It is not a widely known fact. Or else people would covet it." He explains.

"Shiv'ra will do penance for their role in this unrest but as their new king has given us free reign to punish the offenders, their sanction shall only be for a year." Murmurs of assent rang out from the crowd. "Hear the words of the king!" The herald announced. "All hail king Nicolas! All hail king Nicolas!" His people's cheers followed him out of the courtyard and into the castle. The doors shut behind him giving him much needed time to breathe. "Ruling becomes you, my King." Odeya's husky voice came from behind him before warm hands landed on his shoulder easing him into the chair. "How are your legs?"

shouted all the warriors and warrioresses. "By the way, I haven't introduced King Malik and King Baron. They came from different planets, and they are here to celebrate with us. After the 40th anniversary, they will return to their planets." King Bartholomeo gazed at King Baron. "Please come here so they can see you!" King Baron walked towards King Bartholomeo and faced the throng to introduce himself. "I am King Baron and a friend of your king. It is a pleasure to meet all of you!"

Derek's POV This couldn’t be happening. Not to me. Of all the men in the kingdom, I, the King of Drogomor palace, had to be the first to be mated to the same gender. My jaw clenched as I watched Abigail beam beside her newest chosen omega—Nicolas, that was what I heard her call him. Just a slender boy with wide eyes and pretty features. The irony was enough to choke on. The one person who my wolf had chosen, my destined mate, was the same person my ever bold sister paraded in front of the court as her newest conquest. And no one even blinked an eye.

Then the cards start to be dealt, and that's all I can hear, after a few seconds, my Master lets out a low laugh. "I win." My Master says. "At least one of the stones." The King comments and then stands up. "That makes us even." My Master stands up, and I stand up too, keeping my back to him, I see him and the other King approaching, they wave their hands and then the King walks away.
