The Single Mom's Second Chance

The Single Mom's Second Chance

they all chorus and run off into the house to play. “Thanks for taking them out, looks like they had a good time” “Alice?” Dylan starts “yeah” “Can I please go back to having the kids every other weekend, I miss them” “I don’t even know why you stopped having them in the first place, we had no contact from you at all” “I felt awful for what I did, and I was in a really bad place, I’ve been living off of mates sofas, but I’ve got myself a flat now, I’m trying to sort myself out”

Deflected

Deflected

I sputter quietly. "I would recommend getting one," she advises. "Diapers are a lot cheaper there, and if it's a boy, the only diapers that hold Theo overnight are the Sam's Club brand." "Oh. Okay." I don't know how else to respond. Not only am I in disbelief, but I'm so appreciative of the information part of me wants to keep asking questions. Quincy is the only mom I know, and she was never pregnant with Chance. He's her biological nephew, and she didn't get custody of him until he was two months old. The time frame before that is just as lost on her as it is on me.

A Love Forged In Ruins

A Love Forged In Ruins

"It’s an opportunity I can’t just walk away from, Layla." I’d wanted to tell him that I wasn’t asking him to walk away from it forever—just not now. Not when my body was still recovering, not when my nights blurred into feedings and burping and diaper changes, not when Jaden was finally… breathing again. Stable. Settled.

Yessss, love the drama in this book, I'm still reading and can't get enough of it! The family dynamic is dramatic and aggravating and that’s what makes this sooooo good. I don't think there's anyone more shameless than Layla’s mom. That woman annoys me!!!

At first, I thought it was a typical revenge story, but the more I read, the more I grasped the complexity of the characters that were well described. It makes me more curious about Layla, a woman who is trying to figure out the scheme she finds herself in, and Damien, a man clouded in mysteries.

Detective Alsie & the Triplet Alphas-The Beginning

Detective Alsie & the Triplet Alphas-The Beginning

Five babies and six toddler-like mates. The littles are eating good, pooping, and crying. It would be nice if they slept. I’m healing fast and should be completely healed in about 6 weeks. We have the nannies in place at the house. The private upstairs area of the Pack Center has been cleaned and stocked and is ready for us when I get cleared to return to work.

THE DIVORCED WIFE RETURNS TO TAKE BACK WHAT’S HERS

THE DIVORCED WIFE RETURNS TO TAKE BACK WHAT’S HERS

“Okay. This is fine.” This is not fine. I am in my early thirties. I just regained full control of my schedule, I sleep through the night, my body finally feels like mine again, Angela is in school, and the foundation is expanding internationally. I had just told Damian last week that we were entering our “stable era.” The universe laughed. I press a hand against my stomach. There is something terrifying about starting over. With Angela, I was prepared but I never got to experience what mothers do, like changing diapers, midnight feedings, exhaustion, and postpartum hormones. I am terrified to start now.

My Own Alpha Reject Me

My Own Alpha Reject Me

They stopped screaming as the teats filled when the bottles rose to the correct angle. "I know, me too. Remember when we used to complain that they were taking too long to come?" Damon asked as he gathered the third load of diapers the babies had filled that morning along with their second change of clothes and the empty bottles that had built into a pile in the corner of the couch. "Remember when we used to wear clothes? Clothes that you could go outside in" he muttered miserably as he looked at his mate, sitting in the chair in the same pajamas he had been wearing for the last two days.

THE ABANDONED WIFE

THE ABANDONED WIFE

The apartment, once a cold and sterile testament to Dante's ambition, now hummed with the quiet, chaotic symphony of new parenthood. Six months had passed since their return, and the rhythm they had so painstakingly rebuilt was both familiar and fragile. For Megan, the days were a beautiful, exhausting blur of feedings, diaper changes, and the relentless, joyous demands of a rapidly growing toddler. Benny, whom they still fondly called Benny, was the center of their universe, a tiny, perfect vortex of love and energy. He was a curious, happy baby, his little legs a constant, wobbly motion as he explored the world with wide, watchful eyes.

The Cruel Millionaire's Surrogate

The Cruel Millionaire's Surrogate

he apologized lowly. “No apology needed. It happens. But I will say that you need to stop fighting me and your father about wearing the nighttime pull-ups.” “Pull-ups are for babies like Daisy and Nori!” “Pull-ups are for anyone who needs them. You know there are adult diapers, too, right?” “I’m not a baby. I’m not wearing it.” I rolled my eyes and poured some bubbles into the bathtub along with some toys. “I need you to stop taking them off in the middle of the night.”

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

Jane replied, “I haven’t fully returned to work yet. I would check in occasionally, but Ben only lets me go back to work full-time after the children are six months old. “They are growing up day by day, and they’ll soon turn clingy when they get old enough. In the past, it was fine to leave them with their grandparents for a whole day. Now, it’s different. If they don’t see me for a few hours, not to mention my son, even my daughter, who rarely cries, will start wailing. No one can comfort her except for me. I have to come back and hold her to calm her down.”

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.
