Hidden in the Shadows

Hidden in the Shadows

Hunter nodded and then hugged his daughter and said “If you need us, you call we’ll come by as soon as it’s okay to leave. If you end up at the clinic, you call either way.” When she was gone Damon asked, “Who is Gambler’s Tempest?” Hunter explained briefly and Damon said eyes wide “You’re staying here at this event, over seeing if that foal is, okay? Hell, Hunter that damn foal is a miracle to begin with.” Hunter nodded and said, “You’re right but their gone now, I don’t have a ride.” Damon smiled and said “Yes, you do.”

WOLVIRE

“It has become history. Then was then, now is now. End of story.” The three of them got into their respective vehicles, then left the place. Leaving the passengers among the known haunted forest cover behind them. When the three vehicles were far from sight, a person seemed to be darting from the opposite direction and stopped at the clearing. The skinny looking man was wearing an oversized hoodie jacket and black jeans. The figure smiled faintly while staring at the dark forest. A second later he darted again, following Elder Brahma and company into the darkness of the forest. at the dark forest. SATOU, D.
The story was very detailed. It was good. I like how the author made it. It was like a professional estimated novel. Good for the readers who can understand better. Notw: I skipped the news and more. I scanned it. 10 for the scene. 8 for the dialogue. Over all almost 10.

The storyline is quite interesting, although we don't that need the news part so much. The dialogue and the scene is balanced, so far. I mean, it's like 50/50 if I may say. Overall, good. Can't wait for another chapter and cliffhanger 🙈

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

“Yeah. That sucks. So we should just walk.” Jai looked up and tried to see beyond the leaves in the forest, but he could not see anything. It was a wonder that they could still see in this forest with so many branches and foliage covering up the upper part of the forest. At night, he wouldn’t be as sure to keep walking forward as there would be nothing they could see. The original forest in Heruba an Deleima were surely, dark in the night, but Jai knew he would still be able to see some moonlight peeking through the gaps of trees.

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

LAUREL’s POV I hurry along the broken path of the Dark Forest, following the scent of the man who had recently walked before me. The scent of the man I love, Helios Morningstar. And as the western sky turns to a dull orange, I pick up my pace. I have an inkling something has gone wrong. Many steps later, the full moon starts to rise in the east, touching the top of the barren trees with a silver, haunting glow. The branches sway in the breeze, as if shaking their heads and saying, “No, Laurel, you must not go.”

Dear readers, There will be no updates next week as I will be editing the free chapters as well as correcting the grammatical and spelling errors throughout the story. Please bear with me as I work on improving 'Reclaiming my Fated Alpha’ to make the story even more enjoyable for you :)

Definitely one of the better books on here. It’s well written with minimal errors. There were so many climaxes and conflicts that could have easily been made into plots of second and third books. Only thing I disliked was that the MC was mostly weak through out the story especially for being a Beta.

Her Dark Past

Her Dark Past

Her Dark Past Chapter 27 DAMON. I alighted from my car, the map was leading me to nowhere except the forest. This isn't right. The tracker is not working. How can someone build a house in this deserted area? It's so absurd but I will keep trying and moving forward. I can't afford to lose hope at this junction. After some hours, I began to pant softly. I think I'm getting tired already. I mumbled as I took out a bottle of water from my bag and gulped it down.

REJECTED MATE

REJECTED MATE

I hadn’t seen this kind of freak weather in the Punishment Pits. I glanced to our far right toward a network of hills, bordered by a forest of dead trees. It was dark and gloomy and probably infested with some kind of monster, but it would be a suitable hiding place or at least a bit of cover until we worked out what to do next. With a squeeze of my thighs, I steered Glinda toward them, and she powered ahead at top speed.

His Mate's Silent Cry

His Mate's Silent Cry

'The Dark Forest—A witch and a Vampire!' [Prompt Afternoon] One cloudy afternoon, a shadow hid behind the darkness and permitted its gleaming black eyes to peek at the castle— slightly put where it would be out of sight of the naked eye of humans, there on the highest mountain of the Dark Forest. The wheels of the carriage of great age rattled against the wet, rough gravel— hitting the little stones every now and then. Tiny drops of rain lazily fell upon the carriage. As soon as it drove past the two, huge, lifeless trees the two black horses stopped marching.

Dark Water

Dark Water

Thomas asked uneasily as soon as they were out of earshot of the others, heading into the close embrace of the trees. Midnight seemed to fall as the towering limbs blocked the sunlight, barely allowing even the smallest spark to penetrate through the greenery. Occasionally, a ray did slip through, appearing like a divine spear as it pierced the earth. "The glade where all lie still," Nathaniel answered, his finger tapping the map. "A burial ground, whether it be a native one or a place where shipwrecked fools laid their dead is another question." He assumed the latter. Most natives had the sense to burn their dead, lest the sharp noses of predators picked up the smell under the sheets of ear

Under the Cover of Darkness

Under the Cover of Darkness

I disconnected the cut and returned my phone to its former position. It felt weird to be at home at this hour and I took my time to gather my thoughts. Morgan hopped onto my bed and I burrowed my fingers into his fur. I looked around my room, noting how the rising sun glinted off of the vintage records stuck to my blue walls. Looking up I marveled at the glow-in-the-dark butterflies fastened to the ceiling and smiled. They symbolized freedom and safety and reminded me that no matter what, there was always a reason to smile, we just had to be brave enough to look for one.
