Walking over there together, I hand her a stick of saucy barbecue, pick one for myself also and pay for the two of them. "This is so delicious." She says and I watch as she bites into the meat and I chuckle, "I know right." I say trying to continue the conversation, because I become lost on what to say and a comfortable silence settle in as we chew our steak and walk slowly. "So how was Korea, how was school. You know you haven't told me about your experiences you know. What was your first time like? Did you make friends easily? Did you have difficulty speaking English and Korea together or?....." She stops trailing of and looks up at me.

LEXI "Please have your seat," Adebola muttered, pointing at the chair he pulled out for me with a wide smile etched on his face. Returning the smile, I settled on the seat, and he went to sit on the chair in front of me. "Tell me, what do you want?" He asked. "Let me try Tteokbokki. I need it spicy, please," I responded with a smile. That was one of the Korean foods I have been looking forward to eating.

Aiko proposed. "Very creative Aiko," I said teasingly, "but it isn't bad!" she cried out to me, Amber and I laughed. For the rest of the time, we just chatted. Aiko suggested this Korean restaurant she made us try Bibimbap, (Korean Rice Bowl) it was phenomenal.

Nicklaus said and a young beautiful lady walked forward. Nicklaus licked his lips as his eyes scanned through her body. "You got a name, don't you?". He Asked placing his hand on her shoulder. "Myung Hee". She replied. "She's disqualified right? The name sounds like that of a missing ghost". Abruzzi said. "Shut up Abruzzi or I'll serve you your tongue ". " Sorry boss ". " So Tell Me what meal can you cook? ". Nicklaus whispered caressing her neck with his fingers. " Um... Kimchi, Samgyeopsal, Daeji Bulgogi, Haejangguk, Sundubu Jjigae, Hoeddeok". She was saying when Klaus cuts in.

Red muttered in an anxious tone. "Oh my gosh, kuya (which literally translates to "big brother")! I can assure you that it will be something that ate (sister) enjoys. Who could say no to you, anyway? You look so handsome now, kuya!" Maris said this with a grin on her face. Nevertheless, Manang Fe was quick to correct her, and she quickly learned her lesson "You need to exercise some self-control, child, and watch what you say. Look at yourself in the mirror; your face is so pale that it appears as though you've been dunking it in flour, but your neck is dark."

(Ma'am) "Nothing I'm just hungry." Maria wiped her tears and looked around the kitchen to eat something. "Ma'am I don't want to come off rude but you just had breakfast." Lily furrowed her brows. The fact that Maria had eaten five toasts with pancakes and juice made Lily ask about it. "Oh, it's fine. I just want to eat something sweet." She said while looking through the fridge. "Do we have strawberries?" Maria popped her head from the fridge looking at Lily. "Yes, we do ma'am," Lily said making Maria smile and walk towards the counter.

Mari suggested. “No, no, I'm fine. I just had something on my mind, that's all.” I replied and took a bite of food. It was rice topped with beef and broccoli and it was frigging delicious. “Do you like it?” Mari asked, almost nervously. “Yeah, it's really good.” I affirmed and she beamed a smile. “Thank goodness. It's my first time trying the recipe so I was scared I would mess it up but I'm really glad you like it.” She revealed.

the polite waitress who was attending to us spoke, with a small smile curved on her lips. It was a relief they spoke English, my Korean is bad. “ Ojingeo sundae battered in egg wash and fried. A bottle of makgeolli too..” my wife said as she studied the menu I allowed her pick a meal for me and we chatted while waiting for our orders to arrive. Madelyn was one beautiful woman. Too beautiful I couldn't take my eyes off her, I wouldn't dare. “ So, how have you coped in the last one week? Without me around?”

She got out of the bathroom minutes later as she had just had the most quickest bath of her life. She quickly got changed into a simple white gown and ran downstairs heading straight to the dinning room where she met her Mom neatly arranging the plates on the table. "Oh Rosalie, you came just right in time, serve yourself." Mrs Kim stated walking into the kitchen to get more plates. "Tteokbokki!!" Rosalie yelled in excitement, grabbing her chopsticks as she couldn't wait to dive in. Tteokbokki is a Korea delicasy also known as red rice cake and guess what?

It was comforting, grounding. “Sit, sit,” she motioned to the wooden stool by the marble island. “I make brodo. Also good for baby. Bones, herbs, garlic.” I chuckled. “You’re spoiling this baby already.” As she moved around the kitchen with expert grace, I noticed a slip of paper near the fruit bowl—scrawled notes, items in Italian and English. “What’s that?” I asked, gesturing toward it. “Shopping list,” Maria said without turning. “Lista della spesa. I go to mercato today. Need fresh things.”
