*** She didn't know how long she had been in that position, but she guessed a couple of minutes, when suddenly, she heard the message notification from her phone. She stood up. Number not registered. She opened the message. "Hello, Emma, it's me, Leonardo. Add my number, I hope to get a response". Emma did not respond to the message, nor did she save her boss's number, just threw her phone on the couch, and then threw herself on the floor once again in uncertainty. Saying this Christian hung up in anger. Evelyn's phone started to buzz with notifications as she scrolled through the news article. Sinking deeper into her bed sheets, Evelyn clicked on the article, swiping through the images to find the one that had caught her father's attention. There was a door by the right which I guessed led to the restroom and the urge to run in there and hide suddenly overwhelmed me because I could feel his sudden scrutinizing gaze on me which made me feel somewhat self-conscious.
