A NEW CHARACTER’S POV I am Larissa Dallo, Rick Dallo’s only daughter and recently I discovered my Dad’s bankruptcy. I’m not surprised that he would end up like that because of his gambling addiction. He was always not around whenever I tried to visit him in his office and was always in Vegas. I happened to pick him up there once yet I just became a target of his friends’ pervert acts. She kissed her father’s withered cheek before she turned her back to him and left. Bakir stared at his daughter as she walked away. Maybe he made a mistake by disregarding what she wanted, there was no way he would be able to face her and apologize for his behavior. The fact that she was with child shocked him. Realizing I still didn’t know her name, I looked over at Brook. “Have you named her yet?” I asked. “Bailey.” Brook answered, just as her daughter began to cry. Knowing she probably needed to eat or something, I reluctantly handed her back to Brook. As I watched her walk away, carrying Bailey, I couldn’t believe the time has just flown by. I just hoped this curse that was hanging over Leilani could be broken so I could have that kind of family with her.
