Divorce After Betrayal Ex-Wife Revenge

Divorce After Betrayal Ex-Wife Revenge

"Back then, whenever the world felt too heavy, this balcony became our quiet escape." William glanced at her. "And sometimes the place where we argued too." "Especially when you claimed your espresso was better than my tea," Evelyn replied with a teasing smile. The Parisian night air was soft, carrying the scent of recent rain. In the distance, the city traffic hummed like a lullaby. Above them, a rare spread of stars glimmered faintly—seldom seen in the city, but tonight it felt as if the universe itself had made room. The apartment was being cleared out for renovation. Evelyn had never actually sold it, though she hadn't returned in years. That day, she and William had come just to collect

Silenced Bride, Relentless Love

Silenced Bride, Relentless Love

Interesting. Very interesting. Eventually Ava reached for her daughter’s hand. “I think that is exactly what this place says.” The drive home felt quieter afterward. Thoughtful quiet. Good quiet. By evening the house had returned completely to life. Folders appeared on tables. Conversations overlapped. Laughter returned to hallways. The personality department had resumed operations. As promised. After dinner Nova sat with Adrian on the balcony overlooking the city. The same balcony. The same skyline. Different people. Slightly different people.

Pure Pleasures (A Collection of short Stories)

Pure Pleasures (A Collection of short Stories)

That didn’t mean anything now. By the time the sun dropped low, Mom and Dad were already yawning. The boat ride and the drive had caught up with them. They floated into their room around nine with a bottle of wine and a “Don’t stay up too late.” Riley looked at me across the kitchen island. “Balcony?” “Yeah.” We took the last two beers and a half-empty bottle of tequila somebody had left in the welcome basket. The balcony off our room had two chairs and a small table. The ocean rolled in below, steady and dark, and stars were starting to show.

Winter's revenge

Winter's revenge

Right now I'm looking forward to having a nice evening with just my boys and a movie. After the movie and a lot of popcorn, the boys fell asleep and I met with Mia downstairs. "I've already the wine and a couple of glasses ready out on the balcony," she tells me when she carries a tray with snacks. " that's just what I want! I'll be right behind you" we walk up the stairs to my room and take a seat outside on my large balcony. This place out here has been our hideout when we want to be alone and talk without anyone disturbing us. Filling her in on the latest news we sip on our wine and enjoy the evening, today it’s warm and there is a light breeze from the ocean.

I nod as we agree with each other and make more small talk when Aaron and Jake approach me with a nervous smile. Oh god, please no! I WANT A BREAK FROM DRAMA! “Mom, dad… I need to talk to Victoria for a second.” Aaron says as he excuses us and we walk to the balcony. “What’s wrong?!” I ask almost in a flabbergasted tone, not liking where the entire thing is going. I was actually having a decent time. Aaron doesn’t say anything as he looked like he was about to kill someone but Jake who was calm, points towards grandpa and I see Benjamin talking to him animatedly.

this is one of the best books that I read...simple straight...not like others where you'll see so much of pain in female lead and male lead is busy in warming up his bed with other women...but this book shows how female need to love herself and how Nathan helped him to believe in herself...kudos

Absolutely love it. It kept my full attention. I read it in a day. I really hope there ends up being a part two. Where it digs into there new life and sheds some light on Siya and Landon. And maybe Victoria and Aaron have a better chance with a loving romantic life. Hopefully Emily two with her guy.

Mafia Bride: From Pawn to Rebel Queen

Mafia Bride: From Pawn to Rebel Queen

Other couples return to tables, to conversations, to the business of being seen. “I need some air,” I say. “No.” “Luca…” “The balcony.” He nods toward a set of doors leading outside. “Five minutes. Dominic will watch you.” It’s not freedom, but it’s something. The balcony overlooks the city, lights spreading out like fallen stars. The air is cool, a relief after the stuffy ballroom. I can hear the party continuing behind me, muffled through the glass. Dominic stands near the door, close enough to intervene but far enough to give the illusion of privacy.

Fallen For Best Friend’s Daddy

Fallen For Best Friend’s Daddy

Not gone. But different. Jonathan and I had always been good at turning conversations into arguments. Today, somehow, we hadn’t. That alone felt like progress. The city below carried on as usual… cars moving through the morning traffic, people crossing the streets without a second thought. Normal life. For a moment, I let myself enjoy the quiet. Then Bella’s voice drifted faintly through the glass door. Loud. Dramatic. Probably complaining about something. Some things never changed. I straightened and pushed the balcony door open.

she says smiling back. “Well don’t let me keep you,” I say bringing my arm out and guiding to the door. She walks by but turns around before leaving “I haven’t forgotten about the conversation we still need to have about last night.” she says and walks out the door. The dreaded conversation I’ve been avoiding. I don’t even want to talk about it because I know I’ll just get lectured. I walk into the bedroom and get ready for bed. I’m not all that tired yet so I decide to go out on the balcony that I have yet to see. I slide open the door and step out.

THE BILLIONAIRE'S FOREVER DESIRE

THE BILLIONAIRE'S FOREVER DESIRE

Colton stood at the balcony, he was putting on his pants only, he was bare from waist up, he was facing the north side and his back was at her, he was with a glass of wine in his hands, as he brought it to his lips and drank from it. He was facing outside, his hands rested on the railings, he was looking so distant and out of the world as he didn't notice when Athina walked into the balcony, even with the slight groans and hisses that escaped her lips, not one she was complaining of, after all. She had planned of going to the balcony with nothing, but later decided against it, since it was a very big resort and anyone could just be watching from the corners, so instead she grabbed the blanke

The Butcher's Bride

The Butcher's Bride

The wine is dry, expensive, and tastes like everything I hate about this world, controlled, curated, soulless. The door clicks behind me, but no one steps out. Good. I close my eyes for a moment, breathing in the silence— But then I hear it. Voices. Low. Urgent. I tilt my head, eyes narrowing. The balcony just below mine is partly hidden by the shadows of a steel support beam. I step slightly to the side and look down. There they are. Leon and the blonde. She’s facing him, hands gesturing. He’s calm, too calm. That false serenity he wears when something dangerous is being discussed.
