A small spark of anger settled in my chest as I walked over and lowered myself to the ground. Once my knees hit the pillow Dimitri and Darius went back to business, talking about some deal they made with the humans and that the amount of money they got wasn’t right. It was a tiresome discussion as the four men kept denying the claims over and over again, probably not noticing the potential danger behind their lying words. I noticed Dimitri was fuming, it was small, but I had seen it when he dealt with my father.
