Accidentally Married to CEO Bloom

Accidentally Married to CEO Bloom

The "Grand Horizon Penthouse" this was not. The Starlight Motel was a sun-bleached, three-story brick eyesore located two blocks down from Sparks Design Studio. Its neon sign buzzed with a erratic, dying hum, dropping the 'S' so it read 'tarlight Motel' in a sickly shade of pink. Inside Room 214, the linoleum floor was slightly warped near the radiator, the bathroom mirror had a faint diagonal crack in the corner, and the single window overlooked an alley full of green dumpsters and stray cats.

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

Bates into the depths of the mountains… Not a word was uttered throughout the entire journey, so eventually, Gerald took the initiative to break the silence by saying, “So… Why the change of heart, Mr. Bates?” “Let’s just say you’re different from that previous party!” replied Mr. Bates in a calm tone. “…Different in what way, Mr. Bates…?” asked Gerald in a curious tone. “Hah! The earlier party who came looking for the clan were only interested in robbing the tomb! With how blinded by greed they were, it was pretty much impossible for them to locate the Phangrottom Clan in the first place! Them dying only makes sense!” replied Mr. Bates in a calm tone, almost as though he was unfazed by thei

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

The white picket fence was just screaming at her to move there and open a bakery. A vacancy sign for a deserted motel shone below the tree line just a few blocks over in the distance. When Jade parked in front of the long red brick building, there was only one other vehicle in the parking lot. She quickly moved under the bright moonlight, entering the dimly lit reception area. A brunette woman gazed up at her in surprise as the overhead bell letting out a jingle. She laid down the magazine she'd been reading on top of a countertop that was filled with an assortment of bear figurines and adjusted the frames to her glasses, pushing them further up her nose. Jade glanced around the room, realiz

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending! It was definitely a little slow to get going - the first like 25 chapters seemed to drag on, but once it picked up, it was very intriguing and well written. Recommend reading - good job author!

DESPERATE LOVE

DESPERATE LOVE

"Let's stop at the motel." Calvin was silent. Hazel didn't reply at all, but she could clearly see a motel plaque—Greenwell Motel, the only motel standing in that secluded spot with its lights half dimmed with age. Obviously he couldn't expect a luxury hotel like the Ritz Carlton and the like in this place. But even though the motel looked unconvincing, he hoped to find hot coffee and a hot shower to relax his tense body from driving. “The motel is dingy, but lots of cars are coming.”

Tutoring the Bad Boy

Tutoring the Bad Boy

Chapter 16 - There might be some hanky panky involved. ~~ We entered the dimly lit motel and even with the shining sun outside; the motel looked like it was cursed with shadows and ghosts and vampires lurking around, hunting for blood. I looked at the reception desk, a plain brown desk which was surprisingly tidy. A young woman adorned in a skimpy blue dress that left little to imagination. Were receptionists allowed to dress like that?

Midnight

Midnight

She got up in a rush from their king-size bed and looked at the time. The time was 1: 00 am. “Today is the 2nd day of July 2019. Game on, Brother. Game on, F-ing Moon goddess!.” “Why are you speaking to yourself, my beautiful vixen?”. Salvatore inquired, yawning and putting his curling midnight hair in place. Velda stood by their large window staring outside at the full moon, she felt the moon mocking her. A single tear fell from her eyes. Salvatore rushed over to her, hugging her from behind. He kissed her red hair, adjusted her luscious hair from the nape of her neck, breathed on it, and gave her light kisses on the neck to the collar bone.

Third Eye P.I.

Third Eye P.I.

The feeling that they had stopped woke Cassie from her nap. Cracking her neck from side to side to eradicate the kinks, she eyed the scene before her in confusion and wondered if it were a dream. The neon flashing vacancy sign for the Starlight Motel advertised per hour rates at a place that was a windy day away from demolition. Two floors of weathered doors with cast iron railing along the length stood out against the peeling paint and ratty shingles. An all-night diner on one end illuminated the parking lot which was strangely full.

The Code of The Alpha

The Code of The Alpha

Luca looked at me in confusion before hearing Bates choking over his cereal. "Bates!" He bellowed getting out of the bed, nearly tripping as he struggled to pull on his sweatpants and run at the same time. He slid past me, into the hallway. "You've got ten fucking seconds to explain why the hell you're in my house!" he yelled. I heard the barstool slide backwards. "Not thinking, clearly," Bates said defensively, panic in his voice. "I swear to Betty Crocker I was just trying to see if the scent covering thing worked!"

Dangerous Temptation

Dangerous Temptation

"I'm so sorry..." . . MARGAUX WATCHED ROME step out of the driver's seat and make a quick run for the door. It was already past ten in the evening when they reached a two-story cheap motel. With its street sign missing one bulb and the last letter flickering, Margaux read: The Sudden Turn. It was one of the saddest places she had seen. A lone flickering street was standing at the farthest corner of that empty parking lot, with chipping paint and tall mesh barricades surrounding the area.

Omega Dual Bond

Omega Dual Bond

Parking my bike in front, I walked towards the reception. The motel was unsavory and boasted a dozen rooms – each a small space with a single bed with cum stained bed sheets, rusty shower heads, and a stench of sex. Alcohol and cigarette smells hung heavy in the air. Criminals, prostitutes, drug dealers, and spies hung here. It was a common meeting ground for contacts and informants who contributed valuable information for any mission. Bob, the motel owner, was a middle-aged man and loyal as fuck. He could sense my lack of excitement. Stress and tiredness clung to me like a second skin. All I wanted was to be alone and enjoy a drink.
