The two bloodsuckers Mikali was holding at gunpoint in a dark cavern looked exactly like what Jo had been imagining when she’d picked out two potential snitches in her mind. Both of them were groveling on the ground, sweat pouring from their undead foreheads as they pleaded with the Guardian to let them go. Mikali was glaring at them, standing at his full height, which had to be at least six three since he towered over Jo, alternating the target at the end of his Beretta from one sniveling bastard to the other.

Ye Wuhen grumbled, but Xiaoyue growled again, her brows furrowed as she tried to listen intently, "Be careful, these are not your usual bats!" Her voice had just rung when a black shadow shot past them like a black bolt of lightning. With a loud "Bang", the dark ghostly figure slammed into the wall of the cave just behind her with such force that the wall began to crack. Everyone came closer for a look, and to their horror, it was a gigantic vampire bat! The mutated chiroptera had the wings the size that of an albatross' and a completely dark-crimson body. Its eyes were two green-ghoulish orbs the size of a lantern and its fangs, sharp and huge, were the size of an elephant's tusks.

"Don't dare touch me again or I'll kill you again." The male chuckles and rubs his hair. "I'm just like you... A ghost. So how can you possibly kill me? I came back just the same way you came back cause I can't let you hurt her even though I wish I can cause she's a silly female." Jalen rolls her eyes at him and relaxes but suddenly shudders when his other words dawned on her and all the hairs on her body started rising and goosebumps prickled at her skin. "Y..yo..u..both are ghosts?"

The sudden move seemed to catch the Ghoul by surprise for only a few seconds, then as Brandon scrambled across the ground and tried to roll up to his feet the Ghoul was bearing down on him. This was it. This was the breaking point. This was his miracle. Something he could fucking kill. Something he could kill...and eat! With a shudder of need and desperation Brandon glared at the towering Ghoul with its long gangly arms, nearly dragging across the earth, and toxic black saliva staining its gaping fang filled maw and wide boney nostrils. Its long ears swiveled forward in aggression and its thick lips pulled back on a cackling yelp that made Brandon want to spit in its face.

You watch too many movies.” He stepped aside but whispered as I passed, “Run while you still can. He’ll ruin you.” Later that day, I overheard two employees gossiping near the cafeteria. “Did you hear about The Ghost? Some billionaire who shows up masked at underground parties. Pays good money, fucks like a demon, then vanishes. Nobody ever sees his face.” I laughed it off again. But deep inside of me, i was worried for myself.

I had no choice, so I dug through every gift Zoe had ever given me, but I found nothing. Just when I was about to give up, I shook a pillow, and a tiny paper figure floated out. Its face was drawn to resemble Lucas, and his birth details were written on the back! The fortune teller exclaimed, “That’s it! The lock and the paper figure work together, and since you've touched the lock, the effect on you is stronger. Luckily, you found it early.” I broke out in a cold sweat. That same day, I slipped the paper figure under Miles’ pillow and instructed my parents to watch him while he slept.

Chaos darted towards the bat, flying towards it directly, surprising the bat! "Let's see… can you vacuum my soul?" he asked, as Chaos' soul suddenly surged from his body like a blazing black flame, shaping themselves as giant chaotic claws that began to slash and attack the giant, ten-meter-tall bat! The bat tried to fight back by firing shadow bullets, but Chaos attacks were immensely strong, its Vacuum was not able to vacuum souls for some reason, and it ended ultimately being sliced into pieces! The entire pile of sliced pieces of the bat fell over the ground, making quite the bloody scene.

A human bone… Gag. Looking at Catherine, they nodded to each other and turned running back the way they had. As quietly as they could. Once far enough away Opening their l**k to as many pack as they could within the area. “Barghest in the Colton’s Graveyard! I repeat Barghest in the Colton’s Graveyard. It’s huge! We need back up! Now!” With their hearts pumping Yolanda and Catherine kept watch around them. The Barghest wouldn’t be alone. These were pets of more powerful Fae. A Shining One if they were unlucky owned it.

Bates before saying, “Been quite a while, Mr. Bates!” “How have you still not given up, Leandro?” replied Mr. Bates without beating around the bush. The man Mr. Bates was squinting at went by Leandro Zaborowski, and he was the leader of the Soul Hunters… Laughing aloud after hearing Mr. Bate’s statement, Leandro then shamelessly declared, “But of course I haven’t! I won’t stop until I’ve obtained the Phangrottom Talisman! Once I finally have it, I’ll be able to rule over the ghost world and make everyone there obey me!”
