Panicking Over His Newfound Freedom

Panicking Over His Newfound Freedom

The voices rose to a clamor, and everyone in the living room began to cheer on the bet. I returned to the room and frantically packed my stuff, taking everything I saw and shoving it into the suitcase. It wasn't until my calf bumped into the corner of the table that a sob escaped me. Hayden Baxter fell for Lola Dunbar, a woman seven years his junior. He bought her a house and a car, and took her on fabulous holidays around the world. However, Lola refused to even let him hold her hand. She brandished her talent for waterworks and whined, "You're married. I can't do this to Elena!"

Blood ,Fire and Frost

Blood ,Fire and Frost

It has made power portable. In Book Three, we fought hunger, leverage, coercion disguised as consent. Now we’re fighting something cleaner. Something that won’t look evil until it’s already everywhere. By morning, I’ve made the choice. We go. Not because I trust the Clarion Assembly. Because I refuse to let them become the only voice people hear when they’re scared. The carriage is plain. We travel without banners. No proclamation. No escort that screams authority. Just enough guards at a distance to keep us from being stupid.

Freed

Freed

they were nothing I’d ever seen. A loud crack sounded from underneath us and Elijah’s running stopped completely. The ground shifted under his feet and our bodies collapsed into the the crack that was forming. A hand clasped my arm and pulled me from Elijah’s grasp with ease. “I’ve never seen someone wish death upon themselves so badly before.” Rhyland spoke but his voice was toned with what sounded like a dimension of four other voices. His expression was something I’ve never seen but oddly.. I wasn’t scared. Rhyland pushed me behind his muscular figure while Elijah stood trapped in the cracked stones. His fingers gripped the side of the earth as the crack broke open a bit more.

Shattered Silence

Shattered Silence

She makes me want. I had her once when we were just kids. But I lost her, not because the world took her from me, but because I was a coward. I didn’t fight, didn’t speak, didn’t stay. And now, years later, with a little more strength in me and far less fear—I’m not letting her slip away again. Not this time. Life has taught me many cruel lessons, but she taught me one that stayed - sharing what’s inside can set you free.

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

Free me…free me now! Her trembling hands search for the lock and she half whimpers and half curses as she sets out to unlock the chain. First, my hands and then my legs. And the moment I am free, my right foot lashes out, catching her squarely in the chest. I may be weak but the years of training with the best warriors have given me an upper hand. Jamie lets out a gasp and topples over, falling flat on her face and probably breaking her nose. I get up on my knees, grab the blade and run towards the window. I run towards freedom.

Dear readers, There will be no updates next week as I will be editing the free chapters as well as correcting the grammatical and spelling errors throughout the story. Please bear with me as I work on improving 'Reclaiming my Fated Alpha’ to make the story even more enjoyable for you :)

Definitely one of the better books on here. It’s well written with minimal errors. There were so many climaxes and conflicts that could have easily been made into plots of second and third books. Only thing I disliked was that the MC was mostly weak through out the story especially for being a Beta.

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

Gabriel roared triumphantly, the sound echoing through the ranks, bolstering the hearts of their allies. "Press forward!" Amelia cried, leaping into the fray. "For freedom! For our future!" "FOR AMELIA!" The cry resounded, a rallying call that unified them all. With every enemy that fell, with every inch of ground reclaimed, the light of victory grew brighter. Amelia and Gabriel, surrounded by their comrades, fought not just with swords and claws, but with the fierce hope that had been kindled within their hearts—a hope that whispered of an end to curses and the promise of days free from the shadow of war.

A Flight to Freedom

A Flight to Freedom

That's exactly why I came," I said. But a trace of worry slipped through Charles' tone. "I'll be honest, Ms. Stone, but you're not the first. Others came before you, and they didn't last long. "The food, the culture shock, and the language barrier were too much for them. They barely scratched the surface of their studies before heading home." I paused, then answered firmly, "Everything we have today was paved with the sacrifices of those who came before us. Compared to that, this is nothing. I will see this through."

Thirty Days to Freedom

Thirty Days to Freedom

I heard the voice of my uncle Brian Pearson shouting while holding a sign. I turned my head in surprise and saw him wheeling my elderly grandmother towards me. Brian seemed to have not changed much in my memory, and my grandma's eyes remained loving. "Krista, let me look at you carefully!" My grandmother caressed my hand, her eyes also filled with tears. "My dear, you suffered there. But when you come back to my place, no one will ever bully you again." My grandma held my hand tightly and refused to let go. I never mentioned to them what had happened between me and Ayden. Maybe it was because the tiredness on my face couldn't be concealed anymore, or maybe it was the telepathy between a gran

Painful Pleasures(Short Steamy Collections)

Painful Pleasures(Short Steamy Collections)

Freya read the words out loud, her voice shaking at first, then getting louder over the thunder. “I call upon the Lord of the Pit… Azrael… Master of Contracts… come forth and grant me what I seek.” The temperature in the room dropped suddenly. The candle flames stretched tall and turned black at the tips. A deep, rumbling sound vibrated through the floor like something massive had stepped into reality. Then a figure appeared

Breaking Free After My Rebirth

Breaking Free After My Rebirth

Campbell had prepared hot tea to ward off the cold. Holding the warm cup and feeling the cozy atmosphere of the Campbell household, I felt some anticipation for the future for the first time. Perhaps letting go of the past and starting afresh was not such a bad thing. On Christmas Eve, fireworks blazed outside the window, illuminating the entire night sky. The deafening sound of firecrackers rose and fell in waves. Standing by the window, I felt as if I were in another lifetime. "Merry Christmas, Rachel." Gabriel stood very close, his warm breath brushing against my ear, making me feel tingly.
