Baxter moved aside using his reflex with his lagging heart beating and prick the sharp knife unto Nick and made a scratch over Nick's arm. He earned a kick on his hip from Nick's foot and landed on the floor. Nick tried to go over him. He rolled to the side and into Nick's failure, he jumped and his head banged on the corner of the coffee table and lost his sense. Baxter didn't miss any chance to stood up. "Sh*t." He uttered and runs upstairs to Dolora's room where he found his Mother, Jany and Ezra tied up from behind and to their feet. "Mom!" He called for their attention but they are all looking from behind him and screaming.

The look on his face was terrifying, so I squared my shoulders and lifted my chin. “Next time you come at me like that, remember I can take this to the council. You all signed an agreement that I will not be tortured, abused, or mistreated here. You hear me?” I said, forcing my voice against Baxter. Baxter was always the silent type, the one who could do damage without words. He was the most mysterious and the eeriest of them. People said that once you cross paths with Baxter, he knows everything about you. He clenched his jaw as he stared at my face, and for a moment his eyes lingered on my hair and dropped to my body before he forced himself to look away.

“Although I was told to keep casualties at a minimum. The man frowned and rolled his eyes. “Not kill... What the hell are you talking about?” Montana was starting to get pissed off. Who was this man and why was he threatening everyone? “Again. That’s between June, me, and Hunter.” The stranger was getting more and more irritated. “Now where is she?” He demanded, waiting for someone to answer. He looked behind Montana and Rufus and saw June standing there next to Alexis and Daisy. He smiled. “June. I’m so happy I found you when I did. Hunter is dying for you.”

Dread slowly consumed her, she let out a heavy breath as she walked to the fridge and shakily reached out for the piece of paper. It had only two words on it. BLOOM. -Xavier Halle felt a hot tear slip down her cheek. He was gone.

Tyr and Dillon were also dumbfounded. The two exchanged knowing glances. “Get ready!” Baxter's voice drifted into their ears. His body emitted a brilliant white light the next second, and he rushed to Sporus in an instant. Sporus realized the situation was not in his favor, so he began attacking Baxter frantically. However, Baxter appeared to be completely unconcerned about Sporus’s attack at the time. He moved to Sporus’ back and wrapped his arms around him in a tight hug. He then locked his legs around Sporus’ waist as well.

Baxter hissed again and the door bust open, Xavier entered and the moment he saw the state Bianca was in, his countenance changed for the worst. “I told you to take care of my daughter” nathan was not happy to see him, “I will save her on my own” “I will save her and moreover Paige is safe” Xavier retorted, he wasn’t going to back down for the big boss no matter what. “The more the merrier” Baxter mocked as he grabbed her by the throat and pushed her to a standing position. He was aware of how delicate the situation was. Bianca was actually the one saving him right now or the two men were going to tear his heart apart, any little slip up and he was done for.

I nudge his arm, to get his attention, and take my phone out. Aiden is considering Baxter as a Packmate. Blackmarsh trusts him. I don’t think Aiden will mind. “immune 2 silver” I type. “knows sword”. I turn the screen so Baxter can see it but, hopefully, nobody else.There’s also an angry, ghostly dog who’ll probably show up if he’s about to die, but I don’t add that. Baxter can probably make a guess anyway. “Still doesn’t make it a good idea,” Baxter grumbles.

There was something odd about it though, she noticed. She spotted a man lying on a bed on one end of the room. Jack followed her gaze and said quietly " That's him. Alexander King ". Even his name sounded powerful, Ava thought. She went still, shocked at coming to the realization that it was not a little boy she would babysit, but a grown up man. The fuck? Why would they need to babysit a grown up man? Was he sick? These were the questions going through her mind and she shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. Jack walked over to the bed and she followed slowly.

I hear her reply in a whiny voice. “He gave you an order! Do it!” Commander Mortensen’s voice fills the whole house. “Commander, you are back!” Jareth exclaims. “Where is Baxter? Is he okay?” “Yes, they used some kind of sprayed sedative on him but he will recover. The vet wanted to keep him for the night just in case, but he tells me Baxter is out of danger,” the commander explains. “I am glad to hear that, commander,” says a Shark. “Look at your face, Leopold! Those wretched Eels really hurt you,” Sabrina says.

I fight through the pain, ignoring the blood streaming down my leg and force myself to my feet. I am so damn embarrassed, and I don’t look back. I don’t need the handsome stranger to see me in agony with tears running down my cheeks. I limp my way back to my cabin, and it is a struggle. I stumble slightly, “Easy, sweetness.” I hear a male voice say from behind me, and he is holding me up, “That looked like a painful one. Are you okay?” he asks. His accent is different from mine. I am from Oregon, and he sounds like he could be from New York, “Fine.” I reply, refusing to look at him.
