Tomas Midnight struck on the church tower, its solemn chime echoing through the night as I pursued the reckless thief who fucking dared to violate my car, stealing my wallet. During his sleep, he would have some outrageous dreams. Sometimes, he dreamed of being a gang leader, ordering his subordinates as he smoked. Sometimes, he was a patient who laid in bed as he waited for someone to take away his heart.

CHAPTER 230 ~3RD PERSON’S POV~ Steven and Lunaris walked back to Derren and Maria. Lunaris carried the large teddy bear in her hands, and Steven’s hands were in his pocket. His eyes were focused on the ground, and his face was expressionless. As they approached Derren and Maria, he slowly raised his head. Steven's and Derren's eyes suddenly made contact. As if communicating with each other, they both smiled. “I think it's time we moved on to the next game,” Derren said.

She remained in the car, held back by my command. “I have Steven with me for protection, and you’re calling Xander. This will all be over soon,” I assured Lea and walked towards the car roaring in our direction. I saw two muscular men coming out of the vehicle.
