Waindale

Waindale

They're up at the sight of me. "There was a bear," I shout and frantically shed my layers. "What?" My mother leaves the table and comes to me. "A bear? Where?" "I was walking on the path to the beach and there was this big dark thing. I think it was a black bear. Are there black bears?" My grandma, flushed, says, "Why, there are black bears here. I should call the town hall. Usually they don't get so close. They need to put out a warning."

Bow Echo

Bow Echo

While norms were pretty clumsy, whatever was heading this way was making a lot of noise. Zephyra was sure even a drunk-off-his-ass redneck tromping through the woods wouldn’t make this much noise. Her gut was right. The largest beast Zephyra had ever seen emerged from the trees and stepped out into the small clearing. It stood about fifteen feet from her. The beast moved with a grace unnatural for its size as it stopped in almost the same spot as the buck she’d been hunting only a minute ago.

Beast Mate

Beast Mate

They say that moment the raging storm stopped, only the snow was falling from the heavy clouds. My parents named me Eira that night twenty years ago. ** 12 hours previous the evens in 'The Forest' I am standing with my older brother Keenan in the quiet, already green forest, a bow in my hand, daggers on my hips. Gentle breeze blows a few dark brown hair strands off my face. I should make a better job braiding them. Keenan crouches and inspects footprints left by a deer. ''It's close'', he whispers and we slowly turn and go west.

Also, it took WAY TOO LONG to get to the Olympiad and the exam. Like really?!?! Also, no one can be that perfect. Every time you turn around, she is a master of this and that at the tender age of 18. Like, come on! Do better!

I’m only 26% thru this book, and I’m HOOKED!!! There’s a FEW slow places in it, but overall, it has kept me interested so much, that I read every chance I get, and can’t wait to get further into it!!! Definitely worth the time, IMO.

Hunting for Midnight

Hunting for Midnight

Absolutely wonderful. Opening the map, I locate and mark the trails I'm interested in hiking today. Acadia National Park is filled with spectacular views, craggy shorelines, deep white pine forest, and overlooks. I definitely want to hike up to Sergeants Peak, which is a bit more of a challenging hike. From there, I can either continue heading north or eastward on a variety of trails that will pass by waterfalls, stone bridges, breathtaking rocky shorelines, and all sorts of natural formations. Before embarking on today's adventure, though, I will be taking a quick break to utilize indoor plumbing and privacy.

WillowRidge

WillowRidge

Beatrix: After my shift at the café, I decided to take a walk. The restrictions had kept most of the media at bay, but I still took the back alley to avoid the reporters. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over WillowRidge, and I found myself drawn toward the community hall. The place was quiet, almost eerie in the fading light. I stepped inside, my footsteps echoing in the empty space. Memories flooded back—the laughter of children, the warmth of my father’s hand as he led me to the play area, and… Sebastian.

Sweet Hole

Sweet Hole

She didn't show them anything, but they thought they might see something. Near the end of February Monica decided to walk over to the barn. She thought I was in there making chairs. I was up on the roof of the lodge pushing snow off. I saw her as she entered the barn. Not fifteen seconds later I saw a big brown bear walk out of the trees and head toward the barn. I had listened to the forest service guy and was wearing my old military Colt 45. I couldn't remember seeing a gun with Monica. The race was on. I went back inside, downstairs and out the side door, running for the barn. I entered the back door just as the bear entered the front. Monica stood right in the middle, between us.

BLAIR

BLAIR

He was still with the mosasaurs it seemed. Just then, Matthew remembered something. “Wait, I have a beacon, don’t I?” Matthew reached for the cylindrical shaped object on the back of his waist. “It seems fine. Somehow.” Matthew activated the beacon and pulled the string. The beacon popped out air filled bags and floated straight upward. “That ought to get his attention.” Matthew decided to wait on Dzy rather than swimming toward him. Before long, Dzy started to move bringing the mosasaurs with him. While waiting, Matthew expanded his astra again to continue searching for the Kraken. Surprisingly, again, he detected something else of interest.

Billionaire's Fake Wife With Benefits

Billionaire's Fake Wife With Benefits

Raven sniffed recklessly seeing the stars. After having that heated meeting with Shania he came back to the place where he was sitting. Chronicle Point— a famous tourist attraction of the city with a valley and mountainous view in the north while a range of roads running in the back south. And whew he sat supporting his back on the metallic body of the car, was a grassy land with little insects running here and there under the moonlight.

Like the idea of this story but I don't think I should have to pay for chapter 2 just because it got placed at the end of the book, maybe I'd be more inclined to read this if it had been put in its proper place. No point reading it when the book's finished, it won't make sense, fix this please.

Hills Of Pain

Hills Of Pain

Hubbard's mansion was the biggest in Victorino estate, it was highly secured by mobile policemen and the best of modern technological devices. The white stucco perimeter fence in the mansion loomed six stories high, floodlights around it cast a cold gleam over its surface. Turrets rose from its corners to puncture the night. It had a security station with guards standing at the windows, just watching for the chance to take out anyone who posed a threat. It had a long driveway that circles to a statue of Hubbard sitting beside the fountains.
