The Alpha's Freakshow

The Alpha's Freakshow

Jasper says. “No, you guys don’t know,” I say, my voice sounding high-pitched in my ears. “There is this massive weight, just sitting on my chest and every day it gets heavier, painful to carry. I feel like my lungs are going to burst or my mind will go crazy.” My hands are flying around in an attempt to animate how it feels. “Like it already hasn’t?” Beatrice mutters, taking a cautious sip from her cup.

Really loving this book, such a refreshingly different storyline. I jumped straight in without reading the synopsis and it turned out to be so different from my expectations. A well written peice of literature and the only thing I would suggest is taking a little more time to structure the chapters

I enjoyed this book but I felt the issue with his brother was left unresolved...not sure if that's going to be a separate book or not. abe was supposed to have a meeting with Wade but we didn't find out what happened. I will continue reading the wonderful books written by this author

The Alpha Daughter's Third Mate

The Alpha Daughter's Third Mate

I sat back on the cold floor, leaning against the icy wall, exhaling deeply. All the scars on my body erupted, and the pain caused cold sweat to pour down my face. April: Shift now. I can endure the pain for you. April: No. If one person can bear the pain, there's no need for two people to suffer. April: Stupid you. At least let me share the burden. Me: Don't worry, I can handle it. After saying that, I leaned against the wall and fell asleep. Today, I was just too exhausted.

A Bear's World

A Bear's World

As I land on all fours I stretch out and shake my fur to get the rest of the skin and blood off. My bear's name is Yona. It's Cherokee for bear. Our mate stood there smiling like a lunatic. "Holy crap. This is amazing. You are so furry." She walked up and started running her hands through our dark brown fur. She didn’t even mind getting a bit of blood on her hands. It was mostly off but there was always a bit left. Humans were usually terrified of Yona. He has a huge scar on his right eyelid. Another scar on his side and a huge scar down the left side of his ribs. All from war. All from trying to defend his people and the people who stood up for him.

Wounded and Bounded

Nothing mattered, she felt a lot hopeless. “It hurts to see that you are sitting in front of me, despite seeing your head separated away from your neck that day. It hurts to see that you talk to me but I do not understand a bit. It hurts to see that you are here, watching me sad but do not hug me. It hurts to know that I cannot be engulfed in your warmness. It hurts to have the disability to ask you the questions that linger in my mind. ”

THE WEREWOLF ALPHA REJECTED ME, THEN HE BOUGHT ME

we chose to carry more than anything alive can survive. Zayden’s grip slipped. Just slightly because now even he couldn’t hold it all. and as the weight kept rising as everything we tried to contain threatened to tear us apart from the inside. I realized with a sharp, devastating certainty. this wasn’t about whether we could carry it. This was about how long before one of us breaks first.

Alpha Regrets After Banishing Me And Taking My Son

Alpha Regrets After Banishing Me And Taking My Son

“Always needing something. Always crying or getting sick at the most inconvenient times.” One of the servants laughed nervously. Another nodded in agreement. “I never asked to be saddled with someone else’s burden,” Kimberley added, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Someone else’s burden. My son. My baby was someone else’s burden. I bit down on the inside of my cheek hard enough to taste blood. My fingernails bit into my palms until I felt skin break. The stone wall pressed into my shoulder where I gripped it, the rough surface scraping my skin.

Unworthy No More

Alexander joined me, hands resting lightly on my waist. “They think they can break us,” I murmured. “That I can be intimidated. That the Foundation can be destabilized. But they’re wrong. Completely.” “Because you’ve already shown what you’re capable of,” Alexander said softly, lips brushing the crown of my head. “Because together, we’re untouchable.” I leaned into him, feeling the rhythm of his heartbeat match my own. “The storm rages,” I said, “but so does the light. And the light… will always outlast the storm.”
