The Billionaire Groom (The Hudson Brothers Series 3)

The Billionaire Groom (The Hudson Brothers Series 3)

William said and walked down the other hallway. “Thank you,” Beverly said. She was carrying a large bear and a basket. Her large black fake shiny leather bag was hanging on her shoulder. She wore a pair of blue jeans that hugged every curve she had. The green top she sported was sleeveless revealing her fantastically smooth shoulders. Her hair was up in a ponytail. The ends held loose curls. “I can . . . take the bear until we get upstairs,” Bruce offered. “No, he’s not heavy,” Beverly said with a shy smile.

Sweet Hole

Sweet Hole

After a minute I whispered to Monica, "Run into the lodge, call the Forest Service and tell them we killed a bear. Call Chet and his Dad tell them if they'll come out here and help butcher this thing we'll split the meat with them. Then, get a rifle and some shells and come back here." Five minutes or so later she cautiously walked back into the barn. She had our 30-06, some shells and more bullets for my 45. The bear had not moved. We went back into the lodge to wait. Three hours later three snow mobiles and a snow plow arrived.

The Gentleman Biker

The Gentleman Biker

Then, as I made my way deeper into the room and over to my desk, the words that were playing on a loop registered. ‘I make a motherfucker say, oh yeah. I’m cold as a lamb with no hair. If you ever see me fighting in a forest with a grizzly bear, HELP THE BEAR Cause that BITCH gon’ need it, and I'm home and greedy. Gimme that gosh damn porridge, but I'm never gonna eat it.’ “What the hell is that?” I mouthed the words to Mancini, who was the closest one to me, and he walked over.

Bull Creek Chronicles

Bull Creek Chronicles

No offense. The bear cocked his massive head as he stared at Josh, lumbering his way into the camp. When people say 'no offense', they usually mean some kind of offense. Mind getting away from my tent? I'm not trying to hurt anyone, and there's no one here with me. So, you can move along. The giant bear moved around the firepit, avoiding Josh, even though the bear was by far the larger—and thus, deadlier—of the two of them.

“It’s okay. I got to kill a bear.” It was funny watching both of them sag their shoulders in jealousy. “I wanna kill a bear…” Beau whined.

They Said They Could Hear the Greyridge Bear

They Said They Could Hear the Greyridge Bear

] [This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. [The queen of animal rescue!] Curt turned back to the camera and gave a thumbs-up. "When research papers come out of this, remember today. Our streamer took us face-to-face with a bear. Some people, though..." He shot a glance toward the car. "They're only good for sitting inside and watching the stream." Another wave of laughter filled the comments. The Greyridge bear did not eat the crackers. Its head lifted slightly. I stared at the screen. Its eyes were moving, not toward the crackers but toward the people. Its pupils tracked left to right and back again like two black glass marbles, calculating something.

He looks so happy. “Is that bear staring at us?” The beach-looking guy turns in my direction. Shit! I mentally kick myself for staring too long at them. Thinking quick on my paws, I pretend to be searching for something on the shore, using my paw to scrap through the small rocks. Dirt and lake slim get under my claws and I internally gag from the feeling. Just be a normal bear… Wait… how do normal bears act? “That’s one puny-looking bear.” Beach guy laughs.

This book should be made into a full on series, a regular book - it’s SO good! I obvs have some editorial comments, but overall it’s a solid world building, great original characters (though all could use a bit more mix of good/bad qualities for a more natural feel). The plot is so good! Recommend!

"We didn't know this place was being occupied. We're sorry for trespassing. We were just looking for a place to rest for the night." "Where are your vehicles?" Ryder asks, scanning the parking lot. "We left them closer to the road. The bikes aren't too loud, but they have attracted zombies in the past, so we don't like to let them run anywhere near where we stay for the night." "Don't you worry about leaving your vehicles on the road?" Reese asks. "Anyone could take them. Or at least search them and take your supplies." "We don't exactly have supplies to take at the moment," Bear says, sounding suddenly exhausted. "We finished off the last of our supplies the day before yesterday. "We've man

The Twins Who Claimed Me

The Twins Who Claimed Me

My brain started spinning through the worst-case scenarios. Scenario A: A group of mean girls from school goes to Goodwill on a "vintage hunt," finds the bears, and plays them over the school intercom tomorrow morning. Scenario B: A random stranger buys the bear meant for Jules's brother and uploads the recording to the internet as a "weird thrift find," and it goes viral. Scenario C: I simply die of embarrassment right here on this rug.

On the ground, the bear tribe stomped off toward the enemies. The second-in-command bear with reddish-browned fur started to shout as soon as they were springing across the ground with their bat. “Attack the enemy. Never let them escape!!!!” Boom! Boom! The massive feet and heavy bodies of the bears curved the land, creating a sort of signature. The ground left the evidence that the bears were here fighting every inch of their lives. Oldie who was protecting Conan who was just standing while slurping the lollipop inside his mouth looked ahead, grinding his teeth.
